At that critical moment, Kagura launched a death kick. However, the one she kicked wasn't Yujiro, but Gintoki.
Gintoki face-planted into the dirt and rolled dozens of times before finally rising in a fury.
"Kagura, why did you kick me? You were supposed to kick him!" Gintoki pointed toward Yujiro in the distance.
Kagura, while picking her nose, answered nonchalantly, "Physically speaking, that uncle is much more muscular than you. Kicking you is much easier than kicking him."
Gintoki's lips twitched violently. He couldn't find a single reason to argue because those words actually made perfect sense.
He then asked if Mahiru had returned home safely.
Kagura stated that Sadaharu had already escorted her back safely. Hearing that, Gintoki felt relieved, and the two prepared to work together to face Yujiro.
However... something ridiculous happened. Initially, Gintoki was able to fight Yujiro on equal footing alone, but after Kagura joined in, they were actually overwhelmed. This was because Kagura was incredibly distracting and occasionally even struck Gintoki.
Gintoki couldn't take it anymore; a vein popped on his forehead, and he slammed his head against Kagura's. "Did you specifically come here just to mess things up?!"
Kagura shot back with an annoyed face, "Hah? What are you talking about, Aru? It's clearly Gin-chan who is blocking my way."
The two locked foreheads, neither willing to back down. Before long, the fight devolved into a three-way mass brawl. Everything was chaotic; they were punching and kicking each other, and Kagura and Gintoki even started duking it out between themselves.
Finally, Sougo led the Shinsengumi forces to the scene. Together with Hijikata, they attempted to stop the three monsters. The fight that was previously a three-way clash turned into a massive riot.
Gintoki, Kagura, and Yujiro actually cooperated to attack the Shinsengumi first. (Because they are so annoying!)—such was the thought shared by the three of them.
As a result, the Shinsengumi were eliminated first. The surroundings were filled with their "corpses"—ah, no, meaning the unconscious members of the Shinsengumi. The only ones still somewhat conscious were Sougo and Hijikata, who were now leaning against a wall with hopeless expressions.
Sougo muttered, "Next time I'm not getting involved in this kind of business again... Even if the President of the United States, 'Te-Ka-Pu' (Trump), were assassinated right in front of my eyes, I wouldn't care. Not my problem."
Hijikata lit a cigarette, took a deep drag, and stared at the moon. "The wind today... is quite noisy, isn't it..."
On Gintoki's side, a winner was soon decided. The three of them collided at a single point. Gintoki's wooden sword struck Kagura's head until she had a nosebleed, while his other hand struck Yujiro's "precious assets."
Yujiro's face instantly transformed into a "mask of agony," his facial muscles twisting. However, his fist also slammed into Gintoki's left testicle, and his other hand struck Kagura's stomach.
Gintoki's eyes nearly bulged out of his head, but the most lethal blow was Kagura's kick, which also landed right on Gintoki's right testicle.
Gintoki seemed to hear the sound of eggshells cracking. Tears streamed from the corners of his eyes.

Kagura's other fist landed on Yujiro's face. The three were instantly sent flying, frothing at the mouth, and fell unconscious immediately. Ambulances soon arrived; everyone at the location without exception was transported to the hospital.

Ai felt it was strange but continued to pat her man's back anyway. After Yujiro disappeared into the distance, Ryunosuke could finally breathe a sigh of relief.
Meanwhile, Gintoki and Kagura, who were being treated in the same room, began to insult each other.
Gintoki lay with his body wrapped in bandages, mocking her, "Hmph, before you joined, I could hold my own against him. After you joined, I actually lost. Even an Imperialdramon, which is a zero-combat-unit, isn't as defective as you."
Kagura, whose head was bandaged, shot back, "What are you talking about, Aru? Your 'Demon Back Crusher' move didn't do anything to the opponent either."
"HAH?!" Gintoki was incensed. "If you've got the guts, let's duel outside!"
"Bring it on! I'm not scared, Aru!"
The two butted heads on the bed despite their injuries.
In another room, the entire Shinsengumi were lying down. They suffered wounds of varying degrees, but none were life-threatening. Sougo regretted coming even though he had been lazy at first. Hijikata was still stubbornly smoking inside the room until he was eventually scolded by a nurse.

Ai stopped in her tracks. Though confused, she agreed very firmly. She told him that everything of hers was Ryunosuke's, including herself... so if Ryunosuke wanted to use that card, there was no need for permission.
Ryunosuke accepted Ai's kindness. He held the Dark Magician Girl card and whispered softly: "I'll be in your care from now on."
The image on the card winked in response. Ryunosuke then took off the Stardust Dragon necklace he usually wore and replaced it with Dark Magician Girl.
Stardust Dragon: (So... you don't love me anymore, huh?)
