As soon as Ryunosuke returned to the dormitory, he was met by Suzune, who had clearly stayed up all night waiting for him. She sat in the entryway, arms folded and legs crossed—her limbs encased in her signature black stockings.
Her eyes, framed by dark circles from lack of sleep, glared sharply at him. Ryunosuke winced and took a few steps back. "You didn't sleep at all?"
Suzune's brows knit together. "Where have you been all night?"
Suzune and Ryunosuke spent almost every evening together, given their shared routine of cooking; they even occasionally "stole moments" for intimacy. This was why the thought of Ryunosuke disappearing for the night left her deeply displeased.
Seeing how exhausted she was, Ryunosuke was forced to tell the truth. Suzune's frown deepened, her voice laced with irritation. "Why didn't you tell me? Do you have any idea how long I waited for you to come home so we could eat dinner together?!"
Ryunosuke only then noticed the food on the table had long since gone cold; it seemed Suzune truly had waited for a very long time...
Suzune stood up and turned back toward the kitchen to reheat the meal for him.
The two sat on the tatami mats and began eating breakfast. Throughout the meal, Ryunosuke repeatedly apologized. Suzune sipped her miso soup and eventually said it was fine, but she reminded him to give her a heads-up next time so she wouldn't set aside food specifically for him.
It was crystal clear that Suzune was still upset, and Ryunosuke could feel the tension. After all, they had been together for quite a while; he was so familiar with her that he even knew the exact proportions of her figure by heart.
After breakfast, Suzune began clearing the dishes. Ryunosuke rose to help, but Suzune told him not to interfere; the kitchen was too small for both of them.
"Oh~" Ryunosuke replied softly, obediently returning to his seat on the tatami.
Suzune took a moment to brew a pot of tea to keep him occupied. Ryunosuke held the teacup with both hands, appearing to thoroughly enjoy the quiet moment.
"Ah~, this is the life."
Suzune removed her apron and changed her clothes. Since it was Saturday and there were no classes, she intended to go to the supermarket to buy groceries for lunch and dinner. Ryunosuke quickly changed his shoes and followed her, acting as the free assistant to carry the bags for his beloved wife.

Meanwhile, over at the Service Club, the atmosphere was thick with frustration.
Because they had to assist the entirety of Class D with extra lessons, everyone harbored a major grievance against Yukino. Even though she was the leader, it was obvious her subordinates weren't exactly obedient.
If it weren't for Hiyori, Fumino, and Rizu anchoring the situation, everything would have likely spiraled into chaos.
Fumino clutched her forehead wearily. "I'm so tired~ I want to eat something delicious..."
Fumino rested her head on the table, staring out the window. By chance, she spotted Ryunosuke and Suzune walking toward the supermarket together.
Fumino was startled and delighted; she immediately sat upright, thinking: (He's finally back!)
Seeing Fumino suddenly bolt upright, Yukino—who was in the middle of tutoring—frowned, her voice sharp.
"Is there a problem with the subject I'm explaining?"
Fumino waved her hands frantically with an awkward smile. "Haha, no problem at all..."
Yukino: "Then sit back down."
"Right..." Fumino sat back down, cowed, but she kept her eyes on Ryunosuke as he entered the supermarket, resting her chin on her hand while daydreaming.
"That guy... I wonder what delicious things he's eating tonight?" Fumino felt her stomach growl.
Ryunosuke understood Fumino's palate perfectly; he knew almost all of her favorite foods. Fumino naturally harbored some feelings for him, but since he was Hiyori's boyfriend, she chose to give up. She thought to herself, "If only you weren't Boss Shiina's boyfriend, I would definitely pursue you without hesitation..."
Meanwhile, the students grew tired of Yukino's intensity and went on a study strike. Yukino wasn't in the mood to deal with them either; she was fed up with teaching a group of people she considered "amoeba-level." It was truly aggravating.
(Who do you think I'm doing these extra lessons for? It's completely nonsensical.)
Yukino slammed her book shut, grabbed her bag, and opened the door to leave. She didn't care who took over the teaching. She lacked the natural aura of a leader; despite her competence, she simply didn't enjoy socializing.
Everyone turned their gaze toward the former leader, Hiyori.
Hiyori intentionally pretended to be absorbed in her book, ignoring everyone's pleading looks. She made it clear she had no intention of leading again. Having finally shed that burden, there was no way she was picking it back up.
The students sighed and turned to the leader before Hiyori: Ryuen. Ryuen, looking displeased, felt a vein pop in his forehead.
"You lot! Why is your first instinct Shiina instead of me?!"
Wasn't it obvious?
With Hiyori being knowledgeable and polite, who would choose a delinquent as their boss?
Everyone looked away, not daring to meet Ryuen's eyes.
Ryuen: "Fine, fine. You've all become quite rebellious, haven't you!"

Walking out, Yukino realized she had flaws, but she refused to change her pace. Even if the path was difficult, she would keep walking because that was her way of life.
Haruno, who had been hiding in a corner eavesdropping on the classroom drama, let out a long sigh. Yukino was the type to never look back, even after hitting a wall—stubborn to a fault. Her foolish little sister truly made her anxious.
Haruno uncrossed her arms and stepped out from the shadows. The moment Yukino saw her sister, an inexplicable panic flared in her heart; she instinctively took a step back.
"Nee-san! What are you doing here?"
Haruno whistled and said nonchalantly, "I've been here since the beginning, including that little scene in the classroom."
Haruno walked up beside her sister. "In short, you're just imitating me. When will you finally be yourself, Yukino-chan?"
Yukino National clenched her teeth. "That's none of your business!" She brushed past Haruno and walked away.
"Haaah..." Haruno shook her head. "When will you grow up? Well, there's still plenty of time at this school; I'll take my time playing with you." She stretched her body.

At the supermarket, the "married couple" Ryunosuke and Suzune were patiently picking out ingredients. They happened to run into Ayanokouji, who was also there for groceries. Both sides greeted each other politely.
Ayanokouji asked: "You're back."
Although his face remained expressionless, Ryunosuke sensed a hint of joy in his voice. He didn't understand why the guy would be happy.
Of course, Ayanokouji was happy; as long as Ryunosuke was gone, he couldn't get a decent meal. Only with the other's return could he thicken his skin and come over to leech some food. For someone almost devoid of emotion, the temptation of delicious food was one of the few things that could stir his spirit.
