Jay POV:
I woke up, and it was already evening. I looked at Keifer, who was sleeping peacefully beside me, nuzzling against my neck.
"Baby, wake up," I said, but he only hummed. I turned toward him and caressed his hair. Just then, the bedroom door opened and Kerein entered.
"Oh, Jay? When did you come?" he asked.
"i come back again after 30 minutes as i want to talk to Keifer about something," I said.
He nodded.
He gently shook Keifer.
" baby 2 minutes...or gave me booby " he said and keep his hand on my chest and start squezzing my boobs
"Mm," he hummed and nuzzled against my chest.
"Mm, Keif, wake up. Kerein is here," I said. He hummed again and then opened his eyes.
"What?" he asked, turning around. Kerein waved at him.
"What are you doing in my room? It's bad manners, Kerein," Keifer said. Kerein rolled his eyes.
"I want to ask for your permission. Can I go to my friend's house? He said he got a new video game," Kerein said.
"No need. I'll buy you a new video game. You don't need to go to someone else's house. It's not safe," Keifer replied.
"Please, Kuya. He's my best friend. I'll go with the bodyguards. Please, Kuya," Kerein said, giving him puppy eyes.
"No," Keifer said.
"Keifer, let him go," I said. Keifer shook his head.
"Okay, then I'll sleep between you two tonight," he said.
"Huh? Why?" Keifer asked.
"Then let me go," Kerein said. Keifer thought for a moment and then nodded.
"Okay, you can go. Kegain will go with you too," Keifer said.
"No, no. Then I won't go. Kuya, Kegain has been acting weird. I feel scared," Kerein said. Keifer and I looked at each other.
"Again?" Keifer asked. Kerein nodded. I looked at them in confusion.
I know Kegain has a problem similar to mine, and I think I should talk to him.
"Please, Kuya, let me go. Please," Kerein pleaded.
"Okay, I'll drop you off," Keifer said. Kerein cheered and ran back to his room to get ready.
I cupped Keifer's jaw and kissed him on the lips.
"Love you," I said. He rubbed his nose against mine and smiled.
"Love you too," he replied. We kissed again.
Then I went to the washroom and washed my face. Keifer did the same.
We went downstairs and saw Kerein standing there, waiting for us.
"Jay, i will come after dropping him off. Do you need anything?" Keifer asked.
"Mm, ice cream and some chocolate syrup for tonight," I said with a wink. He smirked and nodded.
They both said bye and left....
I sat on the couch and opened my messages. As usual, Section E was creating a mess in the group chat. Then I saw Aries's message.
He was apologizing and saying that he had an explanation.
I ignored his message and dialed Percy's number.
After a few rings, he picked up the call.
"Hello, baby sistah. Missing your handsome kuya?" he said. I rolled my eyes.
"In your dreams. First, tell me, did Papa give Aries a new car?" I asked. There was silence for a few seconds before he answered.
"Yes. My mom and I came to your house, but you were at Keifer's house. Mom talked to your mom about letting you meet your father, but your mom refused, and your tita said she needed time. Papa knew Aries had an old car, so he bought him a new one," Percy said.
"But why didn't you tell me? And how long has Aries been talking to my father?" I asked.
I was feeling so jealous. He was my father, and I still needed permission to meet him.
"I don't know. As far as I know, I guess they met when he met your father at Hemlton University," he said, and the memory came rushing back.
But wasn't Aries angry at that time?
"Okay," I said and ended the call. I didn't wait for him to say anything.
Then I noticed that the house was so quiet. I went toward the kitchen and saw two maids.
"Where is Yuri?" I asked.
"He went somewhere," one of the maids said. I nodded.
"Mam, the snacks are ready. Can we call Mr. Kegain?" the maid asked.
"I'll call him. You prepare the table," I said. They nodded.
I also needed to talk to Kegain.
I stood in front of his door and knocked.
But there was no answer from the other side, so I knocked once more.
Then the door opened, and I was shocked.
Kegain was standing there. His hair was a mess, and his room was a mess too.
Things were everywhere—broken vases, glass, and books.
"Kegain, are you okay?" I asked and started looking for injuries.
"Stop… stop… stop," he said, jerking his hand away.
"Stop showing your fake care for us. I know you're after Kuya's money. You made Kuya fall hopelessly in love with you, and now he doesn't even take care of us like before. You've become his biggest distraction. Why can't you leave us? Why do you always come to our house? Why?" Kegain shouted. I was shocked to see him like this.
"Kegain," I heard Yuri's voice. He came toward us and looked at Kegain and the mess around him.
Kegain looked at us and locked the door again.
"Kegain, please open the door," I said. Yuri also knocked, but he didn't open it.
"Jay, what happened? What did he say?" Yuri asked, holding my hands.
I gently pulled my hands away.
I wiped my tears and went to Keifer's room. I locked the door and sat on the bed.
Maybe he was right.
Kegain was right.
