Chapter 106 - Chapter 106: Flandre's Killer Ping Pong

Flandre's eyes lit up. Speaking of ping pong, she knew it was a fun sport, but she had never played it before.

"Are you sure!"

"Of course, I actually achieved the high rank of sixth place in my neighborhood's ping pong tournament," that Lungmen Guard Officer replied proudly.

"But Flandre hasn't played before?"

"It doesn't matter. Section Chief Zhang from the Logistics Department can only stand still, and I still managed to go back and forth with him for dozens of rounds before losing narrowly," the man said. Hearing his words, another officer next to him stared in shock.

"Damn, I knew there was a reason you always get the best stuff from Logistics, Xiao Lizi! So you had such a scheme up your sleeve!"

"Scheme or no scheme, just tell me if it works!" The man called Xiao Lizi rolled his eyes. "Hehe, Brother Li, can you teach your little brother a trick or two? I want to move up a bit too..."

One second he was calling the other "Xiao Lizi," and the next he was flatteringly calling him "Brother Li." Flandre tilted her head in disdain at the sight.

"Easy, easy! We'll talk when we get back, hehehe!" Watching the two of them acting like partners in crime, Flandre could only sigh that Chief Executive Wei really didn't have it easy.

Soon, the vehicle returned to the Guard Department. They weren't the first ones back; due to distance, several teams had already returned with suspects. Although it was already night, the entire Guard Department was bustling with activity. The three of them, carrying the man who was still immobilized, went inside to hand over the mission.

After confirming there was nothing else to do, Flandre pulled the two of them to ask their superior for permission to play. The superior readily agreed.

"Go ahead. Most of the people who needed to be caught have been caught. You two boys be responsible for keeping our Professor Flandre company."

Their superior, a Senior Inspector General, was more than happy to let them build a relationship with Flandre. One should know that Chen Huijie and Beatrice, who were close to Flandre, had achieved immense merits because of her. As long as one wasn't a fool, anyone could figure out what to do.

Flandre was happily led to the training ground. After the three arrived at the ping pong table, Officer Li said, "Professor Flandre, you haven't played before, so how about you watch Brother Wang and me play a couple of rounds first? Once you understand, I'll teach you."

Flandre nodded. The game was simple, and she learned it quickly. Then, she stood by the edge of the table with a paddle. She swung it and said, "Flandre won't bully you, so Flandre won't use power beyond normal limits, but Flandre can't help her reaction speed!"

"Hahaha, that's naturally for the best. Professor, I'm about to serve!"

Half an hour later, accompanied by a bell-like laughter, Xiao Lizi failed to save the ball and collapsed on the ground. He was drenched in sweat, his chest heaving, clearly exhausted. On the other side, Brother Wang swallowed hard.

"Professor Flandre, my skill isn't as good as Brother Li's..."

"What are you mumbling about? Take this smash!" Flandre swung the paddle.

"Ah!" Another scream echoed from the hall.

By the time Beatrice arrived with a midnight snack, she only saw two boys hugging each other and crying, while Flandre engaged in a "four-person" battle on the table. She had summoned several clones to play with herself.

At this point, the trajectory of the ball was almost invisible. Flandre had not only reinforced the ball with Magic but also the table itself. The table was now a literal battlefield of blood and wind.

"Have you played enough? If you have, come eat. There's your favorite Blood Pudding and roasted meat!" Beatrice held up the basket.

"Oh, midnight snack!" The Flandres merged into one and sat obediently. She looked nothing like the "frenzy" from moments ago. After eating, Flandre asked about the situation.

"I must say, it's the first time I've seen our jail so full. Over a hundred people!" Beatrice finished and rubbed Flandre's head. "The Pink Sausage Dragon was right about one thing: all of this is thanks to your help."

After returning home and sleeping until the sun was high, Flandre decided to go out for a stroll.

"Catch the thief!" A young girl's shout came from not far away.

Flandre's eyes lit up. She saw a girl chasing a panicked man. Flandre flickered and appeared in front of him, lightly pointing her finger to freeze him in place. The girl delivered a flying kick and sat on top of the man.

"You dare steal my classmate's money? Don't you know who's protecting the students of this school? It's me, Waai Fu!"

Looking at the girl, Flandre remembered her identity. A member of the Lee's Detective Agency, Waai Fu was skilled in martial arts and had a chivalrous heart. The girl looked up at Flandre. "Thanks... wait, I think I've seen your face before!"

"Hello, I'm Flandre!"

"Flandre... I remember now! You're the 'other people's child' that Teacher and Lee always talk about!" Waai Fu had a look of sudden realization.

Flandre was a "representative student" in the eyes of parents. Even though she looked like an elementary schooler, her knowledge was broader than many adults. The proud Waai Fu wanted to challenge her.

"A match?" Flandre tilted her head.

"Right, let's exchange some moves!" Waai Fu sized up Flandre's limbs.

"Forget it. I'm a mage and you're clearly a warrior; there's no need for us to compare!" Flandre pointed at Waai Fu's well-proportioned arms and then at herself.
