Chapter 14 - chapter 2.4

The chapter begins exactly where the last one ended. Ming's sect was on the verge of destruction when one of the sect's great elders arrived to save them. However, the enemy forces had already unleashed thousands of martial artists onto the battlefield.

The elder's eyes turned cold as he stared at the invaders.

"None of you will leave this place alive today," he declared. "In my eyes, you are nothing more than insects."

The moment his words fell, blazing flames gathered around his spear, forming a massive sea of fire that surged toward the enemy army. The enemy martial artists desperately tried to use defensive techniques to survive, but the attack descended like divine punishment, heavily injuring countless fighters in an instant.

Realizing the danger, the enemy leader quickly activated a powerful formation to resist the assault. Yet the elder merely sneered before unleashing his Blood Spear Art. Crimson smoke spread across the battlefield, the ground cracking apart beneath the terrifying pressure.

The attack was so overwhelming that even the formation began to tremble violently.

With a roar, the elder hurled his spear forward. It pierced through the formation like a meteor, instantly shattering it apart. The explosion that followed was catastrophic, killing large numbers of enemy martial artists on the spot.

For a brief moment, the elder believed the battle had already been decided. Even the enemy leader felt despair, convinced they were about to die.

But at that exact moment, a senior elder from the Righteous Sect suddenly appeared and blocked the attack head-on.

Soon after, another enemy elder stepped forward — a terrifying expert named Fiel Nomal.

Without hesitation, Fiel Nomal swung his sword and launched a devastating attack toward the sect elder, Kris Chu. Kris Chu immediately raised his spear to defend himself, but the difference in strength was too great. Fiel Nomal's sword attack shattered through the defense and struck Kris Chu directly.

Before Kris Chu could recover, Fiel Nomal unleashed another attack, heavily wounding him once again.

Seeing Kris Chu on the verge of death, Fiel Nomal prepared his final strike.

However, at that moment, Kris Chu suddenly smiled and swallowed a mysterious pill.

Fiel Nomal noticed it clearly, yet instead of stopping him, he simply watched with a smile of his own. Fiel Nomal was a warrior who enjoyed fighting powerful opponents, and he always gave his enemies a chance to reveal their true strength.

The instant the pill dissolved, a terrifying aura erupted from Kris Chu's body.

His cultivation forcefully rose to the Mid Stage of Level 7.

Now, the battlefield was about to witness a shocking clash:

A Level 7 Mid Stage expert versus a Level 7 Low Stage Peak expert.

Meanwhile, back inside the sect, Ming had also received news that the enemy had launched a full-scale attack on their sect. He immediately tried to contact Sai through a communication crystal, but no response came.

The Righteous Sect had already activated a massive formation that completely severed all communication with the outside world.

A trace of worry appeared in Ming's eyes.

But instead of panicking, he slowly stood up, his killing intent rising.

If the enemy wanted war…

Then he would personally step onto the battlefield. Chapter: Demon Blood Awakening

The battle resumed exactly where the previous chapter had ended. Ming had already left to join the battlefield when suddenly, the moment he stepped outside the sect grounds, an ambush awaited him.

From the shadows emerged three Elders of the Righteous Alliance.

A terrifying pressure descended upon the area as the three surrounded Ming from different directions.

"So the little monster finally came out," one of them sneered.

Without wasting another second, Ming launched forward and unleashed a powerful strike. The air trembled from the force of his attack—

—but his expression suddenly changed.

His attack had stopped in midair.

It was as if an invisible wall had frozen space itself.

One of the Elders slowly stepped forward, his robes fluttering calmly despite the violent aura around them.

The Elder's name was Saiboc, a terrifying expert capable of controlling space itself.

Saiboc smirked coldly.

"How do you plan to injure us when your attacks cannot even reach us?"

Ming narrowed his eyes.

"So what if it didn't land?" he replied calmly. "Try stopping this one."

A dangerous aura began gathering around Ming's hand. He was preparing a special attack—one so powerful that even someone controlling space would not be able to stop it completely.

Unfortunately, fate was cruel.

Ming could only use that attack once per day.

Because of this limitation, Ming quickly formed a plan in his mind.

I'll hold back for now… wait for the perfect opportunity… and then finish them with everything I have.

With that thought, the battle truly began.

A brutal 1 vs 3 fight erupted across the battlefield.

Although Ming appeared to be struggling under the combined pressure of the three Elders, in reality, every movement he made was part of his plan.

Then the opportunity arrived.

Saiboc suddenly launched a powerful spatial strike that slammed directly into Ming's body. Blood spilled from Ming's mouth as he was pushed backward violently.

Seeing this, the other two Elders instantly rushed forward to finish him off.

But they didn't realize—

this was exactly what Ming wanted.

The moment the three approached him, Ming secretly pulled out a talisman.

None of the Elders noticed it.

Without hesitation, Ming activated the talisman, and space distorted around him before his body disappeared instantly.

The scene shifted to the past.

Long ago, a Great Elder had handed this talisman to Ming and said:

"If one day all hope disappears… use this talisman and come find me."

And now, Ming had finally used it.

Back in the present, Ming appeared inside a mysterious territory hidden deep within the mountains—the domain of the Great Elder.

Without wasting time, Ming began desperately searching for him.

At the same time, the three Elders also entered the area, hunting Ming relentlessly.

Ming searched frantically like a madman until finally—

he found the Great Elder.

The moment Ming saw him, he shouted,

"Elder! Please help me! The enemies are right behind me!"

As soon as the Great Elder turned around, the three Elders arrived and immediately attacked.

Without hesitation, the Great Elder stepped forward to protect Ming.

And just like that—

the battle transformed into a terrifying 3 vs 2 war.

Meanwhile, in another battlefield…

An entirely different kind of fight was taking place.

It was Fiel Nomal vs Kris Chu.

The moment Kris Chu swallowed the mysterious pill, a horrifying transformation began.

It felt as though some ancient domain power had awakened within him.

Dark red aura exploded from his body like demonic flames.

His eyes turned completely white.

A long twisted smile stretched across his face while shadows wrapped around his body like living darkness.

This terrifying form was known as—

Shadow Demon Art.

In this state, Kris Chu became five times stronger than before.

His aura alone was enough to make the battlefield tremble.

Yet surprisingly…

Fiel Nomal was smiling.

Not out of fear—

but excitement.

He was enjoying this battle immensely.

With a roar, Kris Chu threw a direct punch toward Fiel Nomal.

Fiel attempted to block it with one hand—

—but the power behind the punch was monstrous.

The moment the attack collided with his arm, Fiel was blasted backward across the battlefield.

After stabilizing himself, Fiel slowly stood up and grinned.

"This is the first time… someone has hit me this hard," he said. "Interesting… I'm enjoying this more and more."

Kris Chu raised both hands as dark energy gathered around him.

Only thirty percent of his power was being used, yet the pressure alone distorted the surrounding air.

"True Ball of Darkness."

A massive sphere of dark energy shot toward Fiel Nomal.

But Fiel merely laughed.

"Only thirty percent? You should've used at least eighty. Do you really think this can defeat me?"

A brilliant light exploded from his sword as he shouted:

"Heavenly Slash of Light!"

The radiant slash collided directly against the dark sphere.

BOOM!!

A violent explosion shook the heavens as both attacks destroyed each other instantly.

Fiel's expression finally changed slightly.

"I didn't expect that," he admitted. "I thought my attack would be enough."

At that moment, Kris Chu's aura became even darker.

Without warning, he unleashed another technique—

Demon Back Blood Attack.

Instead of dodging, Fiel intentionally allowed the attack to strike him directly.

Because he wanted to know—

just how powerful Kris Chu had truly become.
