Chapter — The Descent of Lord Unyielding
The chapter begins in the Heavenly Holy Land, where the Heavenly God Profound Sect once existed.
However, the entire sect has now been destroyed.
The reason is terrifying: a Venerable has been summoned into the Lower World.
His name is Lord Unyielding.
What makes the situation even more frightening is that Lord Unyielding has only been summoned with 30% of his true power.
Standing before him is one of the ancestors of the Die Family—Aekrox Die.
Aekrox looks at Lord Unyielding and calmly says:
"I want to see just how strong I've become as well."
Aekrox raises his head and looks upward.
But even after looking up, he still can't see Lord Unyielding's face.
All he can see is one of Lord Unyielding's feet.
That single foot is so enormous that it completely covers the sky above Aekrox.
Aekrox sighs dramatically.
"Oh, so sad. There are twelve Venerables standing before me today, yet I can't even see their faces. This is really unfortunate."
The moment Aekrox finishes speaking—
BOOM!
Lord Unyielding raises his other foot and brings it down toward Aekrox, attempting to crush him beneath his foot.
But this time, Aekrox doesn't immediately teleport away.
Instead, he forms a hand seal.
A mysterious white aura begins spreading throughout the surrounding space.
The white aura rapidly gathers together and forms an enormous white skeletal structure.
Lord Unyielding's gigantic foot descends upon the skeleton.
BOOM!
For a brief moment, the skeleton manages to stop the attack.
But the pressure behind Lord Unyielding's foot is simply too overwhelming.
The enormous skeleton begins to crack.
CRACK!
It eventually shatters under the immense weight.
However, Aekrox isn't surprised at all.
He had already expected this outcome.
"Just as I expected."
The gigantic foot continues falling toward him.
At the final moment, Aekrox teleports away and escapes the attack.
He looks at Lord Unyielding with a serious expression.
"If I lose this battle, or even make a single mistake, my ranking within the family will fall."
Aekrox clearly doesn't want that to happen.
He looks at the terrifying figure before him.
"But this demon is incredibly strong."
He pauses for a moment.
"What if I use my full power?"
Aekrox then reveals an important secret.
Until now, he has deliberately been restricting his strength according to the limits of the Lower World.
The "full power" he used previously wasn't actually his true full power.
It was only the maximum amount of strength he could safely use while remaining within the laws of the Lower World.
Aekrox thinks to himself:
"Hmm... let's see what I should do."
He then remembers his position within the Die Family.
"I still have to maintain my ranking within the family."
For the first time, a drop of sweat runs down Aekrox's body.
But then—
The truth is revealed.
The Aekrox standing before Lord Unyielding isn't his true body.
It is merely a clone.
The real Aekrox Die has never descended into the Lower World.
And there is a very important reason for this.
If Aekrox Die's true body descended here and released his complete power, the consequences would be catastrophic.
His full strength could potentially damage or even destroy the Dao of the Lower World.
Once the Dao was damaged, the entire world could fall into chaos.
The laws governing the world could collapse, and countless lives could be affected.
Therefore, Aekrox's true body remains outside the Lower World.
Only his clone has descended here.
And now, Aekrox Die makes a decision.
He decides to increase the power of his clone.
His clone's cultivation rises from Rank 1, Stage 2, directly to Rank 2.
But this raises an even bigger question:
How can Aekrox increase his clone's strength so easily?
The answer reveals another shocking secret about the Die Family.
The True Bodies of the Die Family Ancestors
Until now, the ancestors of the Die Family that appeared in the story seemed to be physically present.
But that wasn't actually the case.
None of those ancestors had brought their true bodies into the Lower World.
Their real bodies were actually cultivating inside a completely separate space.
And their true strength was far beyond what anyone in the Lower World could imagine.
In fact, the ancestors of the Die Family are above the Quasi Supreme Emperor realm.
And there isn't merely one or two such existences.
There are sixteen ancestors within the Die Family.
Their strength is so terrifying that if the 16th Ancestor were to bring out his true body and release his complete aura throughout the world, something unbelievable would happen.
The entire Lower World could potentially transform into an Immortal World.
But why?
Because the Immortal World itself was once a Lower World.
Billions of years ago, countless powerful Lower Worlds gradually came together and eventually formed what is now known as the Immortal World.
Therefore, if an existence powerful enough were to release an enormous amount of energy and aura into a Lower World, that world could potentially undergo an evolution.
However, the Die Family's ancestors cannot simply release their complete aura without consequences.
Their power is simply too great.
If they released their full aura directly into the Lower World, the world itself could collapse.
Humanity could be completely wiped out.
The reason is terrifying:
The Die Family possesses sixteen ancestors whose power exceeds that of Quasi Supreme Emperors.
In other words, the Die Family has enough power that, if they truly wanted to, they could potentially establish an Immortal-level Die Family with relative ease.
And all of this is connected to the System.
The mysterious cultivation space where the Die Family's ancestors are cultivating was actually provided to Die Yuan by the System.
Aekrox's Counterattack
Returning to the current battle—
Aekrox Die has now increased his clone's cultivation to Rank 2.
He immediately launches an attack against Lord Unyielding.
BOOM!
However, the attack doesn't cause much damage.
Lord Unyielding remains almost completely unaffected.
Aekrox then gathers enormous amounts of power into his hand.
The familiar white aura begins gathering around his body.
He pulls his fist backward.
Then—
BOOM!
He launches his punch.
A gigantic white beam of energy erupts from his fist and shoots toward Lord Unyielding at incredible speed.
The attack strikes Lord Unyielding's body.
For the first time—
Lord Unyielding is slightly injured.
Although the injury isn't serious, it is enough to make Lord Unyielding furious.
His anger erupts.
Then suddenly—
BOOM!
Something enormous appears from the sky.
Aekrox looks upward.
What he sees is shocking.
It appears to be an enormous bone descending from the heavens.
But calling it merely a "bone" doesn't properly describe its size.
It is so gigantic that Aekrox can't even see Lord Unyielding's face.
He can only see the enormous bone and part of his limb.
Lord Unyielding's actual body and face are located so far away that they seem to exist beyond the boundaries of the visible world, deep within the endless outer space.
The scene is similar to someone standing beside a river and reaching down to catch a fish—the person's hand and foot may be visible, while the rest of their body is so far away that it cannot be seen.
That is essentially what is happening here.
Lord Unyielding is so enormous that only his gigantic limb can be seen from the Lower World.
And now—
That gigantic bone-like limb is descending toward Aekrox.
The battle between Aekrox Die and Lord Unyielding has just reached a much more terrifying level.
