Seeing the numbers climb, the major livestreams immediately jumped in with their advertisements.
Inside Liverpool's locker room, things were relatively calm. Klopp didn't emphasize much, simply reminding the players to keep communicating and stay connected.
Manchester City's locker room was far more tense. Guardiola was clearly unhappy with the performance.

Guardiola launched into his familiar psychological routine. As a head coach, his ability to shift his players' emotions was formidable.

David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne began increasing their off-the-ball movement in the attacking third, using constant interchanges to disrupt Leo Lin's forward carries.
Henderson was under immense defensive pressure, forcing Leo Lin to drop deep repeatedly to help cover. City were fully exploiting their numerical advantage in midfield.
"Guardiola's finally figured it out. With four midfielders, City should be fighting Liverpool head-on for control in the middle."

"From the central movement, De Bruyne is looking for a forward option."

The moment De Bruyne took his first touch, Henderson closed him down immediately. Leo Lin dropped back to help the full-back seal off the channel.
But De Bruyne suddenly whipped the ball with the outside of his foot, sending it arcing like a rainbow across the pitch, bending toward the far post on the left!
The rainbow curve bypassed Robertson as if guided by GPS, dropping perfectly in front of Aguero.
Argentina's superstar striker Aguero didn't take a touch—he struck it first time!
His trademark explosive finish inside the box screamed toward the bottom-right corner!
The angle was incredibly tight!
