Manchester City have unveiled their brand-new tactical ace and shown terrifying firepower, yet Liverpool refuse to surrender!
Klopp storms to the touchline, applauding wildly. On a tactical level, he knows he's been outmaneuvered by Guardiola tonight.
Guardiola's long-prepared masterstroke completely disrupted his original setup.
But the level and spirit his players have shown on the pitch leave Klopp immensely proud.
Pep Guardiola is livid. He marches back to the bench and viciously kicks his seat twice.
"FUC＊!!!"
"Why can't we protect the top of the box?!"
"Out of position every time! Leaving men free every time!"
"We haven't managed to keep Leo Lin quiet even once!"
Guardiola vents to assistant coach Mikel Arteta as the two discuss defensive adjustments.
But the overall framework remains unchanged. When play resumes, Manchester City push higher, increase the tempo, and crank up the aggression.
Guardiola makes a substitution.
"Substitution for Manchester City—Delph comes on to replace left-back Danilo."
"Delph used to play in midfield, but since arriving at City, Guardiola has converted him into a left-back. He's done a solid job in that role."
Delph enters with a clear task. Guardiola wants even greater control in midfield and defense.
He instructs Delph to step forward alongside the center backs during attacking phases, one advancing and one holding, forming layered protection behind the defensive line.
As a former Midfielder, Delph's ball control is more than good enough for this responsibility.
Guardiola's new system is about far more than simply freeing the full-backs. That's why he wasn't worried when Leo Lin temporarily disrupted City with pressing earlier.
He knew Leo Lin had only found a short-term answer.
With Delph on the pitch, Manchester City's tactical setup can evolve into even more variations.

Liverpool can no longer contain them through pressing alone.
Forced into a Defensive Counter approach, they try to battle back.
But Delph's introduction only heightens City's attacking threat.

Delph continues his forward run, takes the ball, and pauses.
Leo Lin is instantly caught in a two-on-one situation.
He drops back immediately, trying to block Delph's passing lanes.
With Stones pushing up, Leo Lin instinctively assumes Delph will slide it back to him.
The next second, Delph does play a through pass—
—but not to Stones.
It goes to Aguero, who has dropped deep to receive!
Aguero, who had been stationed in the box waiting for a poacher's chance, suddenly transforms into a False Nine.
Henderson's attention is drawn immediately to the Argentine striker.
Aguero controls and, without hesitation, plays a quick diagonal pass out to Sane on the left.
The commentary rises sharply.
"Sane one-on-one!"
"Drives forward with the outside of his boot!"
"Shapes to go down the line—drops the shoulder, cuts inside!"
"He's opened up the angle!"
"Squares it toward the top of the box!"
Henderson has been dragged away by Aguero.
Kevin De Bruyne stands completely unmarked at the edge of the area.
The Belgian meets it first time, drawing back his leg—
His trademark low, driven strike across goal!
"Bang!!!"
A skimming rocket across the turf!
Mignolet dives full stretch—
—but he has no chance.
"Oh my word!!!" Jon Champion shouts.
"It's in! It's in! It's in!!!"
"Manchester City take the lead again in no time at all!"
"Kevin De Bruyne strikes another blow to Liverpool!"
"Guardiola—he's a genius!"
"Such intricate, ever-changing tactics!"
"From back to front once more, Manchester City slice Liverpool open!"
"Perfect execution!!!"
At such a crucial moment, falling behind again leaves anxiety written all over the Liverpool players' faces.
Jim Beglin says calmly, "You don't solve tactics like that overnight."
"Klopp has already done everything he can."
"If not for Klopp's in-game adjustments, any other team might have been torn apart tonight."

"De Bruyne on the ball, faced by Emre Can—lays it sideways to David Silva!"
It's the sensible pass.
But Leo Lin has read it.
He drops back, cuts it out midway, spins—and explodes forward!
His first three strides are unstoppable.
Fernandinho is beaten instantly!
Leo Lin drives on, two powerful touches—
—and Walker comes flying across, bringing him down!
Walker cuts in from the flank and takes a yellow card to plug the gap for Fernandinho.
Anfield falls silent.
The air carries the final thread of hope.
"Free kick!"
"We're into the 90th minute—Leo Lin has won a free kick for Liverpool!"
Manchester City form their wall immediately.
Leo Lin stands over the ball.
His free kick ability is blazing.
"This could be Liverpool's last attack! Score, and it's a dramatic equalizer. Miss, and they surrender top spot!"
At this moment, Leo Lin is Liverpool's final hope.
He takes a deep breath.
Adjusts his run-up.
Strikes a curling effort.
The ball rises under the gaze of every Liverpool supporter—
Reflected in Klopp's widening eyes—
Heading straight for goal!
Ederson dives full stretch!

"Holy!!!!!"
"FUC＊!!!!!"
