Haiku calls out her name just to stop Emma, saying, "Emma!" Right then, Emma gives him an absolute deadly look and says, "Is there a problem? Is something bothering you? Should I go to fight now, Haiku?"
Haiku says out of fear, "Yes, Madam ji, please go. Do we even have the courage to stop you?"
Emma moves towards Oka, but just then, 3-4 boys surround her and say, "Where do you think you're going? You probably forgot that girls don't take part in this, because they are weak, aren't they?"
Emma says, "Change the script for once! The moment you see an innocent-looking girl, you come to beat her up? Hey, I am only innocent-looking by appearance, my actions are not like that!"
As Emma says this, meanwhile, a boy attacks Emma with an iron rod. He delivers a very fast and powerful blow.
Right at that moment, the scene shifts to the Monster's side, where a girl is overpowering the Monster. She is repeatedly punching the Monster, and she has even made blood come out of the Monster's mouth. Just then, that Angel arrives and says, "Aren't you ashamed of raising your hand against a cute girl?" and she lands a punch on Momo. Momo gets knocked out in a single punch. Angel says, "How weak she is!"
Then, she looks towards the Monster and says, "Your hands worked fine on me, but you couldn't beat her?"
The Monster says, "Hey, she is a girl, right?"
Angel replies, "And am I a witch? Am I a ghost?"
At that moment, Haruto is shown, who is watching the Angel and the Monster. Then he looks to the other side, where an Angel is beating Oka. Haruto says, "Two Angels?"
Then he begins to rub his eyes and looks again, only to find that the Angel who was with the Monster had vanished. He says, "Maybe I have gone blind. Anyway, how can there be two Angels?"
Then the scene shifts back to Emma. It is revealed to us that the iron rod did not hit Emma—it hit Haiku instead. Because just when they were about to strike Emma with that iron rod, Haiku came in front of her, and that iron rod struck him.
Haiku immediately collapses to the ground. The moment Haiku falls, the entire battleground goes dead silent. Oka's team knew that using an iron rod was strictly against the rules. Haiku is lying on the ground; blood is pouring from his head and mouth, and his eyes are slowly starting to close. Yet, Haiku does not lose courage. He tries to open his eyes and says softly, "Emma, don't worry."
But Emma can see that Haiku is hiding his pain. Emma says, "Haiku, you can scream."
Right then, Haiku starts screaming and crying, saying, "It hurts a lot, Emma!"
Emma looks at Haiku and begins to cry. Just then, a boy sneers, "What happened? Does it feel bad seeing your friend in this state? As for us, we enjoyed..." Before he can finish his sentence, Emma looks at him and lands a punch.
Her eyes have turned completely red with rage. She begins to rain down a barrage of punches on everyone, knocking them all to the ground. Then, she picks up the iron rod and starts walking towards Oka.
Kuro comes running to stop her and says, "Emma, calm down! Don't take a step that will make me regret it later."
Then Kuro looks into her eyes, where there is no mercy left for anyone, nor any intent to listen to anyone—only the burning desire for revenge. On the other side, she reaches Oka. She is just about to strike him with the iron rod when suddenly... The Scorpions make their entry.
Then their leader says, "あなたのメールはどうですか?."(How are you ema?)
Hearing this, Emma freezes with fear. She drops the iron rod and turns back to look. There they are—the same tattoos of the sun, moon, and guns. That yellow hair, vampire teeth, red eyes, and the exact same katana.
Out of sheer terror, Emma collapses to the ground and falls to her knees. Gotaru says, "Have you recognized me, Emma?"
Hearing this, Emma shudders completely. She says to Kuro, "Everything is over... everything," and starts crying. Then she stands up and says while weeping, "Gotaru, your enmity is with me, not with my gang. Leave them. I am begging you with folded hands."
Kuro, Angel, Monster, Haruto, and everyone else see Emma looking this weak for the very first time.
Right then, Emma remembers a flashback. It was Monday, 11/01/2022, when she and Haiku were returning home. That was the first time they met Gotaru, who was bullying someone.
Emma went up to him, punched him, and said, "Have you gone mad? Why are you troubling a little kid?"
Gotaru looked at Emma and slashed her with his katana. Haiku got so terrified that day that he was gasping for breath. Gotaru said, "It's a good thing you are not like your friend. Take her to the hospital now, otherwise she will die right here." Haiku was so terrified that he left immediately without saying a single word.
The flashback ends. Gotaru approaches her and cuts her chest with his katana. Emma immediately collapses to the ground.
Haiku is watching all of this. Gathering his courage, he stands up and slowly, painfully walks towards Emma. As soon as he reaches Emma, he collapses beside her. Then, Emma holds his hand.
Haiku musters his strength and asks Emma, "Is this our end?"
Emma says, "Perhaps."
Suddenly, Haiku remembers a memory of when they first became friends. They were playing in a park on top of the snow in the evening. While playing, Emma had fallen down, and Haiku had fallen down too. Then Emma held his hand and said, "Look, how many stars are there in the sky!"
Haiku snaps out of the flashback. "How many stars there are..." He looks towards Emma, whose eyes have already closed. A massive amount of blood has flown out. He whispers, "I wish I could have spent a few more moments with you."
