Chapter 55 - Helping The Church Girls

The spar went exactly as you would expect.

Kiba fought with all his skill and hatred, his sword flashing brilliantly against Xenovia's Excalibur fragment. But in the end, he was completely overpowered.

Xenovia's superior strength, technique, and holy sword advantage proved too much. Kiba was sent crashing into the ground multiple times, battered and humiliated.

Issei didn't fare any better.

He tried to use his "Dress Break" technique in a desperate attempt to turn the tide. Irina saw it coming from a mile away.

With a single, precise kick, she nailed him straight in the balls. Issei dropped like a sack of bricks, screaming in agony while clutching his groin.

"Pervert!!" Irina shouted, face bright red.

Rias and the others could only sigh.

Silas, watching from the sidelines with his arms crossed, shook his head in quiet disappointment.

'These guys are hopeless… it happened in the show too,' he thought.

He genuinely didn't care much. Kiba's tragic backstory and revenge plot felt low-key boring to him.

After the fight ended, Kiba quietly excused himself, clearly shaken by the defeat. No one stopped him.

School continued on like normal after that.

Later that afternoon

Silas and Koneko sat together on the quiet staircase behind the old school building.

It had become one of their favorite hidden spots, peaceful, away from the noise, and perfect for snacking.

Koneko was quietly munching on a chocolate bar, her small body leaning comfortably against Silas's side.

He had his own bag of chips open, occasionally tossing one into his mouth.

After a few minutes of comfortable silence, Silas spoke.

"Tell me about your sister," he said casually. "Do you want revenge too? Like Kiba." He glanced down at her. "Looks like everyone in the peerage has a tragic backstory."

Koneko paused mid-bite. Her golden eyes flickered with a mix of emotions , pain, hesitation, and something softer.

She swallowed the chocolate and stared at the half-eaten bar in her hands for a long moment.

"…Kuroka," she said quietly. "My older sister."

Her voice was soft, almost a whisper.

"She was once a good person … but she went berserk. Killed our previous master and became a stray devil. Everyone calls her a monster now."

Koneko's small hands tightened around the chocolate wrapper. "I used to admire her so much. She was strong, smart, and always protected me… But after what she did, I…" Her voice trailed off.

She leaned her head against Silas's shoulder, hiding her expression. "I don't know if I want revenge," she admitted. "Part of me is angry. Part of me… still misses her. It's complicated."

Silas didn't say anything right away. He simply reached over and gently ruffled her white hair, letting her take her time.

Koneko eventually continued, voice barely audible. "If I ever see her again… I don't know what I'll do."

Silas looked down at the small Nekoshou girl curled against him and gave a soft hum of understanding.

"Family's messy," he said simply. "You don't have to decide right now."

Koneko nodded slowly, then quietly offered him a piece of her chocolate bar, her own quiet way of saying thank you.

Silas accepted it with a small smile.

The two of them sat there in peaceful silence once again, the afternoon sun warming the staircase.

After some time, Silas was walking alone through the city streets, hands in his pockets, enjoying the cool evening air.

The sun had already set, and the streets were bathed in the soft glow of streetlights and neon signs.

That's when he spotted them.

Irina and Xenovia were sprawled out on two separate park benches like discarded ragdolls.

Their church robes were wrinkled and dirty, and both girls looked completely drained , faces pale, eyes half-lidded from hunger.

Silas stopped in front of them and raised an eyebrow.

"I thought your so-called God provides for his people," he said dryly.

『A/N: I am not mocking anyone or their religion. Im specifically speaking about the dxd god who's lame and dead』

Irina slowly lifted her head, her ponytail messy and drooping. The moment she saw Silas, her eyes widened slightly before glazing over again.

"Are you… an angel…?" she asked, delirious from hunger.

Silas chuckled. Without another word, he bent down, grabbed both girls by the waist, and effortlessly hoisted them over his shoulders , one on each side like sacks of potatoes.

"W-What?! Put us down, pervert!" Irina yelped, kicking her legs weakly.

"I refuse to be touched by anyone who associates with devils!" Xenovia spat, trying to sound dignified despite being carried like luggage.

SMACK! SMACK!

Silas gave both of them a firm, loud spank on their asses. The girls immediately went silent, faces exploding into deep blushes as they froze.

"That's better," he said casually and started walking.

He took them to a nearby 24-hour diner. The moment they sat down, both church girls attacked the menu like starving wolves.

Silas leaned back in the booth, feet propped up on the seat across from him, watching in amusement as they demolished plate after plate.

By the time they finished their third round, both Irina and Xenovia were leaning back in their seats, stomachs visibly full, faces flushed with satisfaction.

"Thank you for the meal…" they both mumbled, almost in unison.

Xenovia stood up first, trying to regain her usual stoic demeanor.

"But we must be on our way now."

Silas looked up at them.

"Where are you two gonna sleep tonight?"

"Our Lord will provide," Xenovia replied firmly.

"Oh, like how He provided for your meal?" Silas said with a smirk. "Well, I guess a god did… just not yours. Come with me."

He stood up and started walking toward the exit without waiting for a reply.

Irina didn't hesitate for even a second. She quickly grabbed her things and followed after him like an eager puppy.

Xenovia stood there for a long moment, brows furrowed, clearly conflicted. But when she saw them walking past the diner window, she clicked her tongue and hurried after them.

"What's your name anyway?" she asked once she caught up.

"Silas," he replied shortly.

"Oh? Why are you with the devils anyway?" Irina asked, tilting her head. "You're a human, right? Devils aren't good people."

"I'm not human," Silas said flatly. "And in my opinion… all of you are just as bad."

Xenovia listened quietly from behind, her sharp green eyes studying his back.

'He's not human…? That explains the strange power I've been feeling from him…' she thought.

The three of them continued walking down the quiet street, the night air cool around them. Irina kept stealing curious glances at Silas, while Xenovia remained silent, deep in thought.

Silas simply walked ahead, a small smirk playing on his lips.

They arrived at the grand manor a short while later. The lights were still on, casting a warm glow through the tall windows. Silas pushed open the front door and let the two church girls step inside first.

The moment they crossed the threshold, Rias and Akeno appeared from the hallway like they had been waiting.

Both of them were wearing nothing but extremely revealing lingerie.

Rias wore a deep crimson lace set that barely contained her full breasts, the delicate fabric leaving very little to the imagination. Akeno wore a seductive black and purple set, her ample curves on full display, the garter straps accentuating her long legs.

They immediately embraced Silas from both sides, pressing their soft, warm bodies against him.

"Welcome home~" Rias purred, kissing his cheek.

"We have guests?" Akeno asked teasingly, her violet eyes sliding over to Irina and Xenovia with clear amusement. "Oh my… I thought we weren't supposed to be in your way?"

Irina's face turned bright red. Xenovia, usually so stoic, also flushed deeply, her green eyes widening at the sight of the two devil heiresses practically draped over Silas in such scandalous attire.

"W-We would like to apologize for our earlier behavior," Irina stammered, bowing her head slightly.

Xenovia followed suit, though more stiffly.

"…Yes. We apologize."

Rias and Akeno didn't respond immediately. They simply smiled sweetly before turning their attention back to Silas.

"Don't be late, honey~" Rias whispered seductively, giving his chest a light kiss.

"Save some energy for us," Akeno added with a wink.

Both girls then sauntered off toward the bedroom, their hips swaying teasingly as they disappeared down the hall.

Silas let out a long, tired sigh, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Alright," he said, turning to the two embarrassed church girls. "You'll be staying here for the night. Tomorrow I'm sure you'll find whoever you're looking for."

Irina's eyes softened as she looked at him.

"Thank you, Silas. You're really a nice guy…"

Xenovia, still visibly flustered, bowed her head slightly.

"…Yes. Thank you."

"No problem," Silas replied casually.

He led them upstairs to one of the spacious guest rooms. It had two large beds, elegant furnishings, and its own attached bathroom.

"There's a shower and bathroom right next door if you need it," he said. "See you in the morning."

As he turned to leave, Irina called out softly.

"Goodnight, Silas."

He gave a small wave over his shoulder and closed the door behind him.

Inside the guest room, both girls stood in silence for a moment.

Irina finally collapsed face-first onto one of the beds, groaning.

"…This is so embarrassing."

Xenovia sat down on the other bed, still red-faced. "That man… he's dangerous," she muttered. "Not human… and surrounded by devils like that."

Irina turned her head on the pillow, looking at her partner.

"But… he still helped us. Even after we were rude to him and his friends."

Xenovia didn't reply. She simply stared at the closed door, deep in thought.

Meanwhile, downstairs, Silas walked into the master bedroom where Rias and Akeno were already waiting for him with playful, expectant smiles.
