After witnessing the previous rounds of the Tournament of Power, countless viewers from the myriad worlds realized a harsh truth: while not every participant possessed reality-shattering strength, the ceiling of power was higher than they ever imagined.

From the perspective of the powerhouses in the Dragon Ball world, some fighters were mere background noise. However, to the inhabitants of lesser dimensions, every single warrior on that stage was an invincible god.

Yet, even among gods, Jiren of Universe 11 stood as an anomaly. His strength was so overwhelming that even if every other participant combined their might—including the likes of Son Goku and Vegeta—they still wouldn't stand a chance.

A fully powered Goku had been utterly crushed, treated like a child playing against a titan. For the other universes to have even a prayer of survival, this monster had to be eliminated. But how?

The only glimmer of hope rested with Universe 7, and even then, it was clear that Goku needed to transcend his limits once more. The massive power gap only fueled the viewers' curiosity: just how potent was this "Ultra Instinct" if it could bridge such a terrifying chasm?

In the video, the pressure radiating from Jiren visibly shook Goku. Aside from the God of Destruction, Beerus, Goku had never encountered a wall this high.

He had pushed his Blue form to its absolute breaking point, yet he couldn't even cause a ripple in Jiren's calm. Desperate, Goku turned to his ultimate trump card: the Spirit Bomb.

Standing atop a jagged spire of rubble, he reached for the heavens, his voice echoing across the Void Realm as he pleaded for the warriors of Universe 7 to lend him their energy.

One by one, they raised their hands. Even Frieza, despite his muttered complaints about "unpleasant memories" of the technique, begrudgingly channeled his dark Ki into the sphere.

A gargantuan orb of azure energy soon dominated the sky, crackling with the collective hopes of a universe. Goku leaped high, hurling the massive Spirit Bomb with everything he had. The technique was designed to lock onto and incinerate evil, yet what happened next defied all logic. With a single hand, Jiren blocked the massive sphere, halting its momentum instantly. Then, with a casual flick of his wrist, he began to push the ultimate attack back toward its creator.

"The Spirit Bomb is a lethal strike against the wicked," the narrator's voice resonated through the dimensions. "But against the righteous, its efficacy wanes. Jiren may appear cold and aloof, but he is a core member of the Pride Troopers.

He is a guardian of peace who has vanquished countless evils. Much like when Gohan was able to deflect the Spirit Bomb because of his pure heart, Jiren possesses the soul and the raw power to treat this attack as a mere plaything. At this level of disparity, the 'special effect' against evil matters little; Jiren's sheer Ki is simply too vast."

The screens across the multiverse showed the horrifying sight of the Spirit Bomb reversing its course. Goku, his stamina drained and unable to even maintain flight, could only watch as his own finishing move descended upon him.

The resulting explosion was blinding. A violent shockwave engulfed the center of the arena, erupting in a pillar of white light that forced every spectator to shield their eyes. When the radiance finally dimmed, the Spirit Bomb had dissolved into starlight, and Goku was gone.

Only a scorched, bottomless crater remained where the Saiyan had stood. The silence that followed was heavy. The warriors of Universe 7 were paralyzed with shock, eventually crying out in protest.

They accused Jiren of a cold-blooded kill, demanding his disqualification for violating the tournament's "no-kill" rule.

Other universes joined the outcry, less out of pity for Goku and more out of a desperate desire to see the unstoppable Jiren removed from the board.

However, the Grand Priest's cold verdict silenced the arena: Goku had been caught in the explosion of his own attack. Since it was his own power that did him in, Jiren was ruled innocent of any foul.

While Universe 11 breathed a sigh of relief, the morale of Universe 7 plummeted. Yet, Akira watched the screen with narrowed eyes, his tactical mind racing. He knew the narrative of the strong; a Saiyan's story never ended in a crater. In the chat groups of the Wanjie Multiverse, the reactions were frantic.

"Wait, did Goku just accidentally take himself out?" Uzumaki Naruto asked, stunned by the turn of events. Fleet Admiral Sengoku frowned at the screen, muttering, "Is he really gone? My gut tells me a man like that doesn't vanish so easily." Garp let out a boisterous laugh despite the tension. "I'm with you! That brat is too stubborn to die from his own blast."

Duanmu Yan chimed in, puzzled by the mechanics. "If the Spirit Bomb only hurts evil, and Goku isn't evil, shouldn't he be fine?" Zhang Chulan countered, "Then where did he go? He vanished into thin air!" Finally, Tien Shinhan shook his head, his voice steady.

"He isn't dead. We haven't seen that silver-eyed form from the legends yet. Goku is still in this fight—he's just breaking through the shell." Kurosaki Ichigo nodded in agreement, feeling the lingering pressure on the screen. "That's right. The real battle hasn't even started yet!"
