Duanmu Yan gripped his belt, his eyes wide with disbelief. "Holy crap! Jiren is just too absurd! None of Hit's moves work on him!" Nearby, Zhang Chulan's jaw dropped as he watched the reality-warping display. "He hid himself in a parallel dimension, and Jiren just shattered the dimension with sheer brute force.
He even created a Time-Skip Skill cage to imprison Jiren, but it still couldn't completely restrain him." Kakashi Hatake adjusted his headband, his sharingan tracing the lingering Ki in the air.
"Although it looks like Jiren dismantling Hit's moves is very simple, the immense power he unleashed to do so is beyond our imagination." Regarding Kakashi's comment, countless viewers across the Wanjie Multiverse nodded in agreement.
Indeed, from their perspective as viewers, Jiren dismantling Hit's moves seemed effortless. The parallel dimension Hit created was shattered by Jiren with a single punch. Even while imprisoned in a temporal stasis, Jiren could still move. It all looked so simple.
But they knew very well that to make it look so effortless, an unimaginable amount of Ki was absolutely required. Jiren made it look easy not because Hit was too weak, but because Jiren was simply too strong! Just the few moves Hit displayedâif it were anyone else, even Son Goku, they would probably be at their wit's end.
If Hit hadn't been facing Jiren, he could have dominated the battlefield. In fact, just relying on his Time-Skip Skill, he could have eliminated countless opponents. It was a pity that Hit actively confronted Jiren. He had picked the one monster who could transcend time and space through pure strength.
In Universe 6, the legendary assassin watched the broadcast in silence. "Is this the strongest warrior of Universe 11?" Hit asked himself. "Even though the me in the video has already grown to a higher level, it's still completely ineffective against Jiren.
" Hit's usually expressionless face showed a rare look of surprise. He knew that the version of himself on screen was much stronger than his current self.
The techniques his future self used were things he had not yet even developed. The narrator had mentioned earlier that the Hit in the video had improved his Time-Skip Skill from 0.1 seconds to 0.5 seconds.
The Hit in the video was countless times stronger than his current self, yet in front of Jiren, he was helpless. His Time-Skip was broken like glass, and his new lethal strikes were useless. There was always someone stronger, and always something greater.
Although he was the strongest in Universe 6, other universes held beings of terrifying power. Even Son Goku, if he entered that Ultra Instinct state, would be an opponent he could not defeat at his current level. "I really want to fight Son Goku and Jiren," Hit muttered. He finally understood why Goku had suggested the Tournament of Power.
He wanted to grow. As the number one assassin, Hit had hit a ceiling. Without opponents, he couldn't evolve. While Champa was stronger, challenging a God of Destruction was seeking death. Not all Gods were like Beerus, willing to train mortals. Challenging Champa would result in an instant Hakai, not growth. But fighting Goku or Jiren offered the chance to evolve his Time-Skip further. He just didn't know how to reach Universe 11.
In the spectator stands of the Void Realm, Vermoud smirked. "@Champa, do you see? Your universe's Hit is no match for Jiren! But don't be disheartened, Hit is strong enough. If he hadn't faced Jiren, he would definitely dominate!" Champa's face turned a deep shade of purple with rage, but he didn't retort.
Hit really had no way to deal with Jiren, and talking back would only make him look like a clown. Instead, he vented his anger on the assassin. "@Hit, why did you challenge Jiren? You could have eliminated others first!" Champa was furious. If Hit had avoided the monster of Universe 11, Universe 6 would have had a clear path to the finals.
Now, their ace was on the verge of elimination, and their survival was at stake. Hit did not respond to the God's questioning. He didn't know what his future self was thinking, but he trusted his own instincts. There had to be a reason for the confrontation, even if it ended in defeat.
In the video, Jiren walked slowly toward Hit. He reached out and grabbed the energy orb in Hit's palmâthe very core of the technique used to restrain him. With a slight flex of his fingers, Jiren crushed the energy orb into dust. A move that could render gods helpless was dismantled like a toy.
Having broken the restraint, Jiren pressed his advantage. A single, devastating strike sent Hit flying off the ring. Hit, the number one assassin and the pride of Universe 6, was eliminated just like that. No one in Universe 6 blamed him, not even Champa.
They all saw that he had done his best; Jiren was simply a force of nature. With Hit gone, Universe 6 was left with only five people: the Saiyans Kale, Caulifla, and Cabba, and two Namekians. Elsewhere on the ring, Son Goku lay in the rubble, having crashed down after being sent flying by Jiren earlier. His silver hair had faded back to black as he exited the Ultra Instinct state.
His stamina was at rock bottom, his Ki flickering like a dying candle. And just then, a figure appeared before him, looking down at the exhausted Saiyan. Akira, the transmigrator, watched the screen with a tactical gaze, realizing that the real turning point of the tournament was about to begin. To his side, Tien Shinhan tightened his grip, sensing the shift in the battlefield's pressure.
