**Day 46: Morning – Cave – 19F**
I focus every bit of power, speed, magic, spells, skills—everything—into the very tip of my staff, condensing it completely before thrusting forward.
The strike drives straight through. My entire accelerated body weight pushes all the way through.
It shatters. The golem breaks apart into fragments, shards, and pebbles.
Yeah, I'm perfectly fine with striking attacks, so there's no need to force myself to slash.
I don't need Vibration Sword or anything like that. That was just something I taught the committee members.
My "Tree Staff?" is already fused with a divine sword, so it can cut anyway. There's no need for Vibration Sword—I can cut normally just fine.
I practice "Vibration Magic" every night anyway, so it's okay. I still got yelled at this morning, though.
Besides, I'm good at both punching and thrusting. It's a wooden staff, so thrusting is more natural than slashing, right? And with "Gravity" magic wrapped around it, the destructive power is outstanding.
The committee members are struggling with Vibration Sword and giving me deadpan glares, but that's normal. Fighting while glaring like that is dangerous, though.
Whether I hit or thrust, it breaks. Because it's a staff. I haven't received any complaints from the Isekai Kendo Musou Staff Style yet, so it's fine. Probably. Surely not yet.
No, you do need to practice Vibration Sword. Sword-type jobs require it. You were practicing in the backyard yesterday, right? The atmosphere was so suspicious I couldn't even get close. What was that vibe anyway?
"No? Even if you glare at me… I'm not a swordsman, you know? I don't have a job! Striking works just fine, doesn't it? I've been punching things since the cave days, right?"
Besides, if we're talking about that—Vice Chair B, the great sage, is doing it too! And because of that great sage, I got lectured last night? I'm not guilty at all! It was shaking, so it couldn't be helped, right? She was swinging it around earlier, wasn't she? Swinging the staff and all sorts of vibrating things wildly? Thanks to "Rashin Eye," I could stare even while looking away—it really couldn't be helped. Seriously. She was swinging it!?
I swing the "Tree Staff?" upward to smash the massive descending stone fist, then follow with a right diagonal slash from the shoulder, cutting down while advancing through the golems.
I slip and weave through them like flickering light. I shatter and break apart the stone giants as I move forward, deflecting and parrying the annoying hands with my left gauntlet. No? If I don't use it occasionally, the "Contradiction Gauntlet [Left]" never gets any spotlight for its physical and magic attack nullification. It hasn't even done a single "khh" yet. In the end.
When the golems swarm in, I press my hand to the ground and send magic power and vibration into it. I scatter magic waves like ripples across the area and pulverize everything with vibration waves.
"Vibration Magic"
The "Stone Golems" shatter simultaneously into rubble. I avoid the flying debris and press forward.
Piles of broken stone fragments stand tall all around me.
At Lv 19 or so, this is normal. It's no different from rock excavation work—crush, bore through, pulverize, and advance. It's basically renovation work. I'm good at it?
Finally, the 20th floor.
"Hey, hey, Haruka-kun, why are you rushing? You're moving pretty fast, aren't you? Is something up?"
While the committee members fight the golems one-on-one with Vibration Sword, I wipe out whole groups at once, so it probably looked like I was rushing. See? This really isn't normal, is it? Armor Committee Chair? She's not listening at all—she's busy annihilating everything over there.
"I'm not rushing. If I don't hurry, they'll get wiped out. If I don't defeat them before they go extinct, the monsters will all die off. The previous dungeon was just descend the stairs, ascend, and done, right? Greedy Armor-san was monopolizing the solo massacre. Seriously."
Yeah, today I don't need to give instructions, so Armor Committee Chair is completely unleashed. She's in free-range rampage mode, and her tamer is being totally neglected. It's already turned into a finders-keepers slaughter fest. If I don't do something, my mob-ification will be unstoppable. Lately my only spotlight is at midnight. Nighttime is when I get my big performance.
From the 20th floor onward, the enemies are "Iron Golem Lv 20." They apparently evolved from stone to iron. Bitch Leader still hasn't evolved into Bitch Queen. I asked her about it and she got angry?
The "Iron Golem" is giving everyone a really hard time. Vibration Sword can cut stone somewhat cleanly now, but iron is a different story.
I casually accelerate with "Magic Clad," close in, spot the core with "Rashin Eye," and pierce it with one thrust (it's still a staff, though). I'm still using a staff in this other world? Even after fusing with a divine sword, it still looks exactly the same.
I follow up with a return strike (still a staff, though)—slamming the core of the "Iron Golem" attacking from behind with an impact wave to destroy it.
I'm trying hard to create some spotlight, but no one's watching? Well, everyone looks busy, so… it's fine, I guess?
After finishing off the iron golems, I look around at the committee members. It seems tiny Vice Chair C is struggling the most. She's dodging and slipping around, slashing wildly in every direction, but it's not having any effect. She's too small, so it doesn't work. Being a small animal probably doesn't help. Meanwhile, big B is destroying them—probably because she's big and everything's shaking. She's so big that just that might be enough to destroy them? Oops—Armor Committee Chair is glaring at me with a deadpan stare while posing with her sword. She somehow made it back already. Time to escape! "Transfer"!
I got yelled at.
Tiny small animals rely mainly on distraction, decoys, and critical hits from behind, so one-on-one against a bulky opponent is tough for her. She shines in group fights and is more of an assassin or ninja type, so direct clashes don't suit her.
Her weapon doesn't match. Dual-wielding short knives lacks the reach and destructive power needed to finish things off. Her DeX is high and her fighting style is dexterous, so she should be able to use pretty much anything, right?
"Hey tiny, come here? Try this? It's small-animal sized and it's a throwing weapon, so you can choose the distance. Tiny-sized version? The war puppet was pretty tiny too, right?"
I pull two Francisca axes out of the item bag—ones I saved thinking I might use them someday but never got the chance to. The war puppet swung them around, so even a tiny person should be able to handle them.
"I'm not tiny! I'm petite! I'm in my growth period! I'm going to grow huge any day now! I'm going to become a big animal! Eh!? Yay! It's free!?"
She was complaining at first, but the moment the weapons appeared she snatched them and ran off. Classic small animal. She's gone completely wild now. Should I return her to the forest? With the bitches?
If these don't suit her, I can try giving her a falchion next. If I show her both, she'll probably take both and run. Starting with the Francisca is fine. It's a throwing axe used as a projectile weapon. The reach isn't great, but you can swing it for strong impact, throw it, and even use it for woodcutting. It seems perfect for a small animal from the forest.
She immediately dual-wields the axes and charges while spinning like a top. Being tiny makes her look like a beyblade. Being tiny, maybe she reads comics with rolling attacks or something.
She's cutting, smashing, and scattering enemies with spinning axe strikes. Looks like it's working fine—her movements match up well. She probably has some kind of rotation skill. "Rolling Small Animal Attack" or whatever.
"Yay~ yay~ I got weapons~! Axes! Axes! Now I can axe too! Axe! I'm an adult woman now. An 18-restricted adult!"
She happily shows them off to everyone. She has zero intention of paying—declaring they're gifts and bragging about it. I only said "try them," but it looks like they're never coming back. Classic small animal. Still, why does holding axes make her think she's an adult woman? What a mysterious small animal.
