Aurelian Dragon lifted Princess Xiu's round and alluring chin with his hand, revealing her delicate and pretty face in full view. Then, he reached out with his other hand and gently patted her smooth pink cheek, a wicked smile on his face.
"Little woman, you are quite beautiful!"
As Princess Xiu was enveloped in the strange, sweet scent emanating from Aurelian Dragon's mouth and nose, her mind began to wander. Hearing these words amidst her wavering mind, her proud heart as a princess immediately reacted.
"How dare you!" Princess Xiu forced herself to regain her composure, her almond-shaped eyes wide open, and said in a firm tone.
"Let me go right now, or else..."
Aurelian Dragon pinched those incredibly alluring cherry lips with her hand, rendering Princess Xiu speechless.
"Little woman, don't you know your situation?"
A large, hot hand caressed her high, firm breasts, kneading them wantonly through her clothes.
"ah!..."
Before Princess Xiu could even scream, her cherry lips were firmly sealed by the man's. Gasping for breath, Princess Xiu struggled desperately, only to be horrified to discover that the man before her possessed a terrifying strength far beyond her wildest imagination. Her pride in her martial arts seemed utterly useless against him, like child's play.
The hot, sweet scent wafting through her nose and mouth stirred her senses, yet Aurelian Dragon's rough handling filled her with humiliation and terror. What kind of man was this? This question arose in Princess Xiu's mind, and she herself found it strange that such a thought would arise at this moment.
Suddenly feeling a chill on her chest, Princess Xiu was horrified to discover that her beautiful breasts were exposed to the air. Her shapely and firm, crystal-clear breasts trembled slightly in front of the man, completely disregarding her horrified feelings and fully displaying their alluring charm.
Princess Xiu's two small fists pounded incessantly on Aurelian Dragon's body, but it was all in vain. The demonized man didn't care about these feeble protests at all. After teasing her ample breasts, his large hands moved down, caressing her soft, smooth waist, and finally reaching her smooth, hot, and alabaster-like abdomen.
Princess Xiu's delicate body trembled violently, as if she had a seizure. She already knew what Aurelian Dragon wanted to do, but she was powerless to stop this despicable man's next move. What filled her with despair was that Aurelian Dragon's tongue was entangled with her, giving her a different kind of sensation. She didn't know when it started, but that strange, sweet fragrance had taken deep root in her heart, making her feel weak and languid all over, as if ants were crawling up and down her sensitive areas. The feeling was soft and itchy, making it difficult for her to even stand up.
Seeing Princess Xiu's delicate body swaying gently, her body trembling and shaking, her breathing becoming more and more rapid, her little tongue beginning to respond, and her eyes gradually becoming dazed, it was clear that she had been aroused.
Aurelian Dragon suddenly withdrew his mouth from Princess Xiu's lips, extended a claw like Lu Shan's, and grabbed her now high and large breasts, laughing wickedly, "Feeling good, little woman?"
Princess Xiu suddenly snapped out of her daze, her half-open eyes snapping open wide. With a swift motion, she slapped Aurelian Dragon across the face.
"You filthy, despicable, shameless scoundrel!"
Women's cursing seems to have run out of new tricks. As a noble princess, she rarely has the opportunity to use vicious language to curse others. Princess Xiu has run out of words to curse to this extent, and can only vent her anger by punching and kicking.
"Well said!"
Aurelian Dragon chuckled and tossed Princess Xiu's delicate body onto the wide table. The white jade teapot, exquisite little cups, and the small incense burner with burning incense sticks on the table were all knocked to the ground, shattering into pieces that bloomed into beautiful flowers.
"Ouch!" Princess Xiu struggled to get up, looking truly disheveled, yet incredibly alluring. Any man who saw her would feel a urge to commit a crime.
The torn front of her dress revealed a breathtaking view of her breasts, the exposed skin even whiter and more delicate than the white jade table, her round, full breasts exuding endless allure. Below, her flowing lower garment revealed two long, straight, snow-white legs, half-bent and half-pressed, arousing a desire to explore further. Her disheveled black hair from the struggle, coupled with the shy and sorrowful expression on her face, evoked a sense of pity and added to her captivating charm.
"Hehe... Why not? You are so intoxicating, how could I possibly give up such a beautiful woman in my arms?"
Amidst her soft moans and groans, though she was hesitant and reluctant, strangely, she felt a need deep within her that she had never experienced before. This caused her body to writhe and tremble passionately with his caresses, while her delicate hands frantically clung to his waist and back.
Aurelian Dragon, a smile playing on his lips, unleashed all his seductive skills upon the woman in his arms. Princess Xiu, who had never experienced such passion before, fell into a daze, her body weak and powerless, allowing his large hands to roam freely over her noble and delicate body. Her smooth and voluptuous body became a completely defenseless city, and she could only let out soft moans to express the excitement and trembling surging from the depths of her heart.
Aurelian Dragon abruptly stopped what he was doing, suddenly losing that thrilling feeling. Princess Xiu almost let out a soft moan, but she managed to suppress it because of her status as a princess.
"Little woman, do you feel like you're being played by a man right now?" Beneath his wicked smile, the man's question was sharp and despicable.
Princess Xiu, deeply humiliated, bit her cherry lips, a tear involuntarily rolling down her cheek. This double torment was something she could never have imagined, something she had never experienced before.
But when the man's hand started moving again, influenced by the strange atmosphere in the room, she gradually lost her way, displaying a contradictory combination of traits: both unrestrained and gentle, with the two qualities strangely blended together, which was quite astonishing.
The helpless humiliation and burning passion drove Princess Xiu to madness. The fierce and brutal violation and attack made her feel both pain and pleasure. She could do nothing but moan and gasp.
In the throes of lust, Princess Xiu's gaze suddenly fell upon Aurelian Dragon's genitals. Her almond-shaped eyes widened instantly, too horrified to utter a sound. This was an object she had never imagined before, as thick as a child's arm and nearly a foot long—completely beyond her comprehension.
Princess Xiu had no idea how the surging spring tide had swallowed this terrible, coarse object, because the excruciating pain of the swelling had left her in a daze.
As the Aurelian Dragon launched its full-scale attack, Princess Xiu trembled violently in pain, crying out in alarm. But the despicable man paid no heed, brutally violating her beautiful body, reveling in the moist, warm sensation. Her untouched flower path was so tight that each thrust brought him immense pleasure, yet left her in a state of alternating pain and itch.
Later, Princess Xiu could no longer distinguish whether she was in pain or pleasure; she could only helplessly endure the man's burning lust.
Humiliation, anger, and pain mingled with a strange feeling. Suddenly, she felt an indescribable throbbing deep within her body, making her feel utterly terrified. With a piercing scream, her hands and feet involuntarily clawed and kicked wildly until they gradually went limp. She fell into a daze and lost consciousness.
After an unknown amount of time, Princess Xiu slowly woke up, groaning as she tried to sit up. She had just raised her upper body when her brows furrowed, and she slumped back down. Her body ached terribly, and she lacked the strength to even move a finger.
She tried to recall, and as her body ached, she looked down and saw that her once smooth and delicate breasts were now covered in red and blue marks, and her fair and tender skin bore the marks of the storm. She was fully awake, and the scene from before flashed through her mind.
Two tears rolled down her cheeks. Princess Xiu gritted her teeth and struggled to sit up. She saw that hateful man lying naked on the ground, fast asleep, looking carefree.
Princess Xiu gritted her teeth and lifted her leg off the table. With this slight movement of her jade leg, the burning pain in her groin made her groan. Her beautiful and flawless garden was already unsightly under the ravages of the storm, and the spots of blood among the filth were even more shocking.
Princess Xiu walked slowly to Aurelian Dragon's side and kicked him hard. The unconscious man still didn't react, but this simple action made her forehead break out in a cold sweat.
With her strong character, she knew the matter was beyond repair. Sighing, she slowly walked to the dressing table. Looking in the mirror, she saw a pale-faced, purple-lipped, pitiful woman, looking utterly ravaged. Her hatred for Aurelian Dragon intensified.
She stood in front of the mirror for a long time, her mind racing with thoughts of what to do with Aurelian Dragon. But this was just an unexpected event in the planned scheme, an event that should never have happened. How could she let this ruin her carefully crafted plan? Strangely, after the man's inexplicable change, he seemed to have returned to normal. If it weren't for the bruises on his body and the indescribable tingling and burning pain in his lower body, she would have really thought it was just a daydream. Perhaps when she opened her eyes, the nightmare would simply disappear.
Princess Xiu was heartbroken. After pondering for a long time, she turned to look at the still unconscious Aurelian Dragon. Although she had made up her mind, seeing this man lying naked before her, a chilling murderous intent flashed in her almond-shaped eyes. She truly wished she could chop him in two. No! How could a single cut quell the hatred in her heart? It should be a thousand cuts!
After hesitating for a long time, Princess Xiu walked over hesitantly, picked up the scraps of cloth on the ground, and gently wiped the stains on her delicate body. When she saw the sad parts, she couldn't help but kick Aurelian Dragon twice.
However, Aurelian Dragon was lucky. He had just narrowly escaped death several times. If it weren't for Princess Xiu's calm and shrewd nature, her thoughtfulness , and her focus on achieving her goals, he would have already become a victim of her blade without even realizing it.
Come to think of it, if it were any other woman, she might have already rushed up and torn him to pieces. Such rape and abuse is unacceptable to any woman, let alone a noble princess.

Aurelian Dragon groaned as she woke up, finding her head throbbing. She slowly sat up, clutching her heavy head, only to realize she was lying in the grass by the lake, with the high walls and wide moat of Esnia not far away.
"What exactly is going on?"
The man, completely bewildered, sat blankly on the ground, trying hard to recall why he was in this place. Was this a dream or reality?
Gradually regaining some strength, Aurelian Dragon stood up from the ground, looking down at his filthy clothes and smiling bitterly. He clearly remembered being lured to "Bixin Pavilion" by Princess Xiu of Wu'an, having a conversation, being drugged and rendered unconscious, and then having no recollection of what happened afterward.
But how did he end up like this? His whole body looked like he had been severely beaten, and he was in excruciating pain everywhere. His reflection in the water showed marks on his face, and his two large bruises made him look like a panda from the mysterious Eastern country of Ludian.
Aurelian Dragon scratched her head for ages, unable to recall what had happened. Looking up at the sky, she realized it was almost sunset and decided to head home.
Returning in such a state would undoubtedly cause a sensation, so Aurelian Dragon secretly slipped into the city and found an ordinary healer to give him a quick fix so he could present a normal appearance. Afterward, he went to a tailor shop, quickly washed and changed into clean clothes before heading home.
During this time, Aurelian Dragon considered many possibilities, wondering how he had ended up like this. He still couldn't recall the missing part of his memory, so he couldn't piece together the whole story. If he went back to that despicable princess now, he would definitely be kicked out. They might even laugh at him for being out of his mind, thinking that the dignified Princess Wu'anxiu would secretly meet with a man she barely knew, especially at such an important moment when she was about to marry the second prince of the Fast Empire. If she were to say that she had drugged him, no one would believe it, because the most important thing in any action is the purpose. Since he hadn't suffered any major harm or loss, it was even less convincing.
Therefore, Aurelian Dragon's final conclusion was: keep quiet and make a fortune; he was going to suffer this loss in silence and just pretend it never happened.
Back at Phoenix Manor, Obsidia Shade and Cynthia were about to lead their men out when they saw Aurelian Dragon. Overjoyed, they rushed forward to surround him, demanding to know where he had been and why he had been gone for so long. It turned out that Phoenix Vane and Obsidia Shade had felt uneasy for some time. Seeing that Aurelian Dragon hadn't returned for so long, they feared something had happened to him and were preparing to send Obsidia Shade and Cynthia out to look for him.
Aurelian Dragon was both ashamed and embarrassed. He couldn't talk about what had happened in front of everyone, so he could only stammer and try to cover it up. Obsidia Shade and Cynthia were very happy to see that Aurelian Dragon had returned safely. Although they had some questions, they kept them to themselves and hugged him as they went inside.
Aurelian Dragon noticed that Obsidia Shade, who was beside him, seemed hesitant to speak, and her expression was strange. Feeling guilty, he couldn't help but ask Obsidia Shade, "What's wrong? You seem to have something to say to me?"
"Young master…I…" Obsidia Shade opened her mouth but didn't say anything. She just smiled at him, which made the already uneasy man wonder what he had done to make this beautiful young woman see through him.
Entering the inner hall, the small flower room where they liked to sit and chat the most, Phoenix Vane, Lynette Quill, Lyra Draconis, and Zuo Lanxin were all there. Aurelian Dragon hesitated for a moment before going in.
Seeing Phoenix Vane's beautiful eyebrows furrow slightly, Aurelian Dragon quickly said, "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to!"
Phoenix Vane stood up and walked towards Aurelian Dragon, saying softly, "Silly girl, I'm heartbroken that you're injured!"
Aurelian Dragon looked at Phoenix Vane gratefully, and said with a wry smile, "Phoenix, how did you figure that out?" Before he could finish speaking, Phoenix Vane had already flashed to his side, grabbed his arm, and said urgently, "Sit down first, let me give you a proper check-up."
"What? Where are you hurt?" Lynette Quill and Tian Tian rushed over. Tian Tian saw that Lynette Quill was anxiously holding onto Aurelian Dragon, so she stood silently to the side, looking at Aurelian Dragon with a very concerned look.
Aurelian Dragon was deeply moved by the care and love from his loved ones at home. He lowered his head like a child who had done something wrong and began to apologize.
"Don't do it again!" Phoenix Vane interrupted him with a smile, her pretty face displaying a half-smile. "You're not seriously injured, just a minor cut. And it seems you've already had some treatment. Now let Lanxin give you a thorough check-up, and you'll be perfectly fine tomorrow."
Aurelian Dragon smiled apologetically at Zuo Lanxin, "I'm sorry, I've really troubled you!"
"Brother Aurelian, it seems you're apologizing to the wrong person." Lyra Draconis wrinkled her pretty nose. Ever since being appointed commander of the light infantry regiment by Aurelian Dragon, perhaps thanks to Phoenix Vane's mediation, her relationship with Aurelian Dragon had become more normal, and she even called him Brother Aurelian. However, he still didn't quite understand why this beautiful dragon girl had been so hostile towards him at first , causing him so much trouble. Now, hearing her call him so intimately, he was flattered and somewhat relieved. But deep down, he still considered this beautiful dragon girl one of the people he least wanted to offend.
Hearing such a joke, the relatively thick-skinned man didn't seem bothered at all. He just chuckled and apologized to Lyra Draconis, leaving her speechless.
The woman with a thin skin was a little shy. Zuo Lanxin blushed slightly and glanced at Lyra Draconis, saying softly, "Little Sister Long, you're being unreasonable. Sister Zuo didn't do anything to you, so why are you making fun of Sister Zuo?"
Lyra Draconis glanced at Phoenix Vane, who was smiling silently to the side, and stuck out her little tongue. Her appearance was so cute and charming that it was impossible to stay angry. "I'm sorry, Sister Zuo!"
Lynette Quill patted Lyra Draconis on the shoulder, "Ha, Little Dragon, you apologized too!"
Aurelian Dragon closed her eyes, feeling the warm and comfortable sensation of the "Holy Light" emanating from Zuo Lanxin's hands, as if her mother's hand was stroking her, dispelling all her pain and fatigue. She could also hear the laughter of the other women, and that warm feeling seeped into the depths of her heart, lingering for a long time.
After fully recovering, Aurelian Dragon was sent off to take a shower by Phoenix Vane. As she was leaving, Aurelian Dragon suddenly asked with a grin, "Who wants to come with me?"
This remark elicited a chorus of playful reproaches. Phoenix Vane chuckled, "You're so beautiful! You even drag someone along to the bath!"
Lynette Quill playfully punched Aurelian Dragon on the shoulder, scolding, "Go on, stop talking nonsense here."
"Still lustful! You've only just recovered your strength and you're already thinking of doing something wicked!"
Amidst the chaotic sounds, Lyra Draconis's voice clearly reached Aurelian Dragon's ears, causing his heart to race. He quickly pulled Tian Tian, who was standing to the side, towards the back, completely disregarding the fact that the poor Tian Tian was already blushing and overwhelmed with shame.
Just as they passed through a door, Obsidia Shade suddenly caught up from behind, her pretty face flushed and looking very cute.
"Young master, let me keep you company!"
Aurelian Dragon was looking at Obsidia Shade with a puzzled expression when she suddenly heard her words. She was taken aback. Why did this beautiful and reliable woman seem like a different person today? She was so proactive and seemed very emotional. No wonder she had been acting so strangely earlier.
He couldn't refuse such a good thing that had come to him so readily; otherwise, he wouldn't be the Aurelian Dragon. He reached out and pulled the shy Obsidia Shade into his arms, gently breathed into her ear, and whispered, "You really want to... don't you...?" The last syllable was drawn out, carrying a special flavor.
Obsidia Shade's pretty face was flushed red, almost burning, but her eyes seemed to be about to burst with tears. Her shy yet alluring expression made even Tian Tian, who was also a woman, feel a flutter in her heart, not to mention the man who considered himself a connoisseur of beauty.
As she nestled into Aurelian Dragon's arms, Obsidia Shade whispered, "My lord, it's so strange. Today, whenever I'm near you, a strong desire rises within me to make you love me. My body heats up involuntarily, and I long for you to..."
"Huh, when did I become so charming?" Aurelian Dragon couldn't help but feel smug after hearing Obsidia Shade's confession. He hugged the almost unsteady Obsidia Shade with one arm and pulled the blushing Tian Tian with the other, quickly walking towards the back.
When Obsidia Shade and Tian Tian emerged from the bathroom, they were half-supported and half-carried by a spirited man.
Lynette Quill, who had been itching to get started, didn't bother to tease the two shy yet satisfied women. She grabbed Aurelian Dragon by the shoulder and pushed him forward without saying a word. "Now it's our turn, sisters. Hurry up and go into the room. Sister Feng and I are going to give you a thorough inspection!"
"Great! That's quite bold!" Aurelian Dragon, already burning with passion, was delighted to hear this. He didn't understand why, after what he had done to Obsidia Shade and Tian Tian, his passion hadn't lessened at all; instead, it had become even more unstoppable. He couldn't wait to pick up Lynette Quill and head towards Phoenix Vane's bedroom.
In the inner courtyard of the Flying Phoenix Mansion, there is a two-story pavilion with double eaves, exquisite and unique. It was originally Phoenix Vane's boudoir, but now it has changed owners. After Aurelian Dragon moved in, she combined the two rooms on the second floor into a large, elegant and tranquil room. There are no tables or chairs in the room, only low tables, blankets, cushions, and bedding to make the large open room.
The moon climbed to the horizon, casting its gentle silver light across the earth. The night breeze softly swayed the flowers, plants, and trees in the inner courtyard, producing a sound almost heavenly. The design of this garden was truly painstaking, giving one a wonderful feeling of completely forgetting the mundane world.
But at this moment, the most wonderful thing is not the exquisitely crafted scenery, but the faint, almost imperceptible moans and whispers coming from the half-open window on the second floor, interspersed with shy giggles and playful teasing, weaving together a beautiful symphony of boundless spring.
Bathed in the soft moonlight, the inner chamber was filled with the allure of a seductive fragrance emanating from the reclining figures of several stunningly beautiful women. Several women lay naked on the cloud-like carpet, their bodies glistening with fragrant sweat, their jade-like forms glowing with an alluring peach-pink hue, their faces flushed a fiery red. At the end of their shapely legs, their pubic areas, adorned with black and white stripes, were glistening with lustful desire. Each woman appeared languid and languid, seemingly half-asleep.
As Aurelian Dragon's muscular body descended from Lynette Quill's delicate frame, Lynette Quill, having been brought to ecstasy for the fourth time, was completely disoriented . Her eyes were glazed over, and she was still passionately murmuring, "You...you're... naughty...you...bite...kiss me..."
Aurelian Dragon inspected his work. Although Lynette Quill had brought the recovered Obsidia Shade and Tian Tian to help, the mere four were no match for the enthusiastic Aurelian Dragon. He gave Lynette Quill's breasts a satisfied pat and said with a grin, "See if you can still be so stubborn!"
Lost in the intense pleasure, Lynette Quill's body twitched spontaneously as she murmured, "No... I can't... anymore..."
A smug Aurelian Dragon turned her head and immediately saw Phoenix Vane lying to one side. Completely naked, she lay half-reclined on the cushions, gazing at Aurelian Dragon. A satisfied glow shone on her face, and her diamond-like phoenix eyes shone with a deep, captivating light that stirred the heart. Her cherry-red lips curled into a seductive smile, making her truly alluring.
Aurelian Dragon stared wide-eyed, secretly admiring Phoenix Vane's profound skill and rapid progress. She was already perfectly in sync with him in bed, and he couldn't help but think that if she were with Lunaria Dawn, the pleasure would be unparalleled.
Phoenix Vane looked incredibly alluring at this moment. Her long, flowing black hair cascaded down her beautiful breasts, partially concealing one of her full, rounded breasts. Her delicate, jade-like skin was smooth and flawless, with a rosy glow. Below her flat, snow-white abdomen, her long, slender legs were crossed, one extended and the other bent, partially concealing her beautiful pubic hair. A few glistening black curls were visible, and a few glistening drops of hair glistened under the wall lamp, making her even more captivating, stirring endless fantasies, and igniting a surge of heat within one's body.
In this situation, if anyone could still maintain their composure, they would definitely not be a man. Aurelian Dragon couldn't help but swallow hard. Before he could make a move, Phoenix Vane let out an alluring laugh, her breath sweet and delicate as she chuckled, "Silly boy, what are you looking at?"
As she spoke, Phoenix Vane gently shifted her body, letting her delicate arms wrap around Aurelian Dragon's shoulders, neck, and back. She straightened up, her black hair cascading down, revealing a pair of fair and full breasts that pressed against his chest, while the sweet fragrance of orchids wafted towards his cheeks.
A sweet, fragrant voice whispered in Aurelian Dragon's ear, "Tell me the truth now, who did you see this afternoon that made you look like that?"
Aurelian Dragon chuckled inwardly. So, in the end, Phoenix Vane was still jealous. He pressed his lips to Phoenix Vane's ear and said with a wry smile, "If every case investigation was this erotic, I don't think there would be any case that couldn't be solved!"
Phoenix Vane squeezed her legs together tightly and chuckled, "You rascal, why don't you confess! There were so many people around earlier, I was too embarrassed to ask too many questions, but now, you'd better tell me everything."
As Aurelian Dragon slowly began to move, she whispered her thoughts into Phoenix Vane's ear, casually pouring out all her doubts to this exceptionally intelligent and beautiful woman.
Amidst soft moans and gasps, Phoenix Vane savored her lover's tender caresses while simultaneously processing the information Aurelian Dragon had provided. Even with Phoenix Vane's intelligence, she couldn't fathom what had transpired. The only certainty was that Princess Xiu of Wu'an harbored ill intentions; she must have taken advantage of Aurelian Dragon's unconsciousness. But why was Aurelian Dragon ultimately thrown to the lakeside? This outcome seemed to suggest that Princess Xiu had merely intended to punish Aurelian Dragon.
Phoenix Vane could never have imagined that the reason Aurelian Dragon was thrown to the lake was that he had raped Princess Xiu, the mastermind behind the plan, while he was unconscious, thus introducing some unexpected complications. Obsidia Shade was aware of this change in Aurelian Dragon, because while bathing him, she noticed something different about his body—certain marks—but by then she was already consumed by lust and simply ignored the matter.
The real reason for this change was Aurelian Dragon's special talent. His fusion with Lunaria Dawn did not completely eliminate the abnormality in his body, but only made it lie dormant. In addition, he had been given the "Desire of the Heavenly Demon" by Princess Selene Qian before. This nearly lost spell also left aftereffects on Aurelian Dragon. These would not be apparent under normal circumstances, but after Princess Xiu's special bewitching tea, the dark demon hidden in him became active again. The demon, which had already merged with the "Desire of the Heavenly Demon", naturally regarded the beautiful princess in front of him as the best prey.
After his outburst, although the Dark God went into hiding again, his lingering aura still exerted a strong attraction on the Dark Clan, which explains Obsidia Shade's sudden, fiery passion. None of the parties involved knew these events, and Phoenix Vane, as an outsider, was even less aware of them.
As the two reached the height of their enjoyment, Phoenix Vane felt a vague unease. She knew she would soon learn the consequences of Aurelian Dragon's actions that afternoon, and she believed the difficulties would be immense. The fact that the people of Wu'an had gone to such great lengths to orchestrate that scheme must mean a grand conspiracy. Unfortunately, she couldn't learn more about this conspiracy before it surfaced, thus preventing her from preparing countermeasures.
※ ※ ※
Phoenix Vane's premonition was absolutely correct; the consequences came swiftly and were devastating.
The very next morning, a spirited Aurelian Dragon stepped into the gates of the Eastern Governor's Office. Just as she was about to greet Shi Yixin who was coming out, she saw that the military advisor of the Eastern Governor's Office was covered in dust and his eyes were full of anxiety.
"What's wrong? My esteemed military advisor, did Madam find out that you went to Anxiang Pavilion last night?"
Aurelian Dragon chuckled and made what she thought was a funny joke, but no one responded. Just as she was wondering what was going on, a large number of palace guards rushed out from both sides and surrounded Aurelian Dragon. They were all on high alert, with swords and spears in hand.
Upon seeing this, Obsidia Shade, Cynthia, and the female guards also drew their weapons and stood guard around the Aurelian Dragon.
"What's going on here?" Aurelian Dragon looked at Shi Yixin with great confusion. Shi Yixin smiled bitterly and said, "My lord, now you understand why we all look like that."
Aurelian Dragon glanced at Lucian Swiftfire, Garrick Stonewall, Sochong, and the other generals of the Eastern Governor's Office. Each of them looked worried, so she couldn't help but ask loudly, "What exactly happened?"
"Aurelian Dragon, you've committed a crime!" A cold voice rang out from behind. When Aurelian Dragon turned around, he saw a horse-faced man walking towards him. He recognized the man; it was Goode, the head of the palace guards.
"What exactly did I do wrong?" Aurelian Dragon stared intently at Goode and asked angrily.
"Yesterday afternoon, you led men to murder General Trini, the secretary of the General's Office, and Poole, the chief of protocol of the Central Secretariat. Do you still dare to say that nothing happened?"
Goode's words left Aurelian Dragon feeling dizzy. He looked at Shi Yixin and the others and saw them nodding at him, so he knew that these things were indeed true. But why was Goode so sure that he was the one who did it?
"If you want to explain, go and say it before His Majesty!" Goode waved his hand and ordered, "Take him away!"
Obsidia Shade and Cynthia looked at Aurelian Dragon with questioning eyes, waiting for his command so they could cover his escape from the encirclement. Aurelian Dragon knew their intentions, but he was unwilling to bear a false accusation. He would give it a try if given the chance.
However, when brought before Andre III, Aurelian Dragon realized how unfavorable the situation was, as his actions were witnessed by someone at almost every point in time, and his route was clearly depicted.
Every witness swore they saw Aurelian Dragon with several people and the two victims; his build and clothes were absolutely unmistakable!
Aurelian Dragon then realized how serious his mistake was. It must have been Princess Xiu of Wu'an who sent someone to impersonate him and do all these things. But if he said that he was with Princess Xiu at that time, no one would believe him.
The only option now is to insist that they didn't do it, since all they can prove is that someone who looks like them was near the victim, but there's no concrete evidence or witnesses.
However, Aurelian Dragon underestimated the cards his enemy held. With Andre III's consent, Prince Elnario brought one of the most compelling witnesses into the council chamber.
"Trinity was murdered right after he had been intimate with her, so she could be considered the only eyewitness to the murder!"
Prince Elnario's words echoed in the hall, his confident and powerful attitude inspiring everyone present.
Aurelian Dragon was overjoyed. He thought that if this woman had seen the murderer's face, she would naturally recognize that he was not the one who killed Trini. However, when he walked up to the woman, she immediately pointed at him and shouted, "It's him! It's him!"
"I've never seen you before, so why are you so sure it's me, young lady?"
Aurelian Dragon tried to persuade the somewhat nervous woman, but after calming down and looking at her for a long time, she still said with absolute certainty, "This is the person, I will never forget him!"
"But if it were me, why wouldn't I silence her as well?"
Seeing that it was impossible to get the woman to change her story, Aurelian Dragon tried a different approach, hoping to overturn her testimony.
"Because you only went out with Lord Trini after you met me!" The woman's words shattered Aurelian Dragon's last hope. He was speechless. The whole plan was so meticulous that he had no chance to turn the tide.
"Aurelian Dragon, do you have anything else to say?" Andre III looked at Aurelian Dragon expressionlessly, as if he were about to deliver a verdict.
"Motive? Why would I kill those two? There needs to be a reason!" Aurelian Dragon cried out, grasping at the last glimmer of hope.
Prince Elnario sneered, "That's a question for you to answer. Maybe it's because of a woman, or maybe it's because they both look down on you. Anyway, now there's plenty of evidence and witnesses, you can't escape!"
Having no other choice, Aurelian Dragon gritted her teeth and looked at Andre III, saying, "Your Majesty, since that's the case, I have to tell you the truth. At that time, I was with Princess Xiu of Wu'an..."
"What a joke! How could you come up with such an excuse!" The Second Prince, who was in the audience, interrupted Aurelian Dragon. "Because at that time I happened to be enjoying a song and dance performance with Princess Xiu!"
Aurelian Dragon's heart sank to the bottom. He was now utterly unable to defend himself; all the evidence pointed against him. The two dead men were both highly influential officials: Trini was a trusted advisor to Prince Elnario, and Poole was the most talented foreign minister under the Left Minister Girimans. Both men enjoyed the deep trust of Andre III at court.
Why did Princess Xiu use his identity to kill Trini and Poole? Aurelian Dragon really didn't understand the woman's thoughts, but one thing was undeniable: the woman had done a very good job, and the noose around his neck had been tightened.
The air in the council chamber grew heavy. Everyone's eyes were fixed on Emperor Andre III, who sat on the throne, waiting to see what sentence he would give to this man who had inexplicably become his favorite. Under such charges, even if Andre III wanted to exonerate Aurelian Dragon, it would be extremely difficult. Prince Elnario and Gilemans were absolutely unwilling to swallow this insult.
Aurelian Dragon lowered his head silently, a sudden sense of absurdity rising in his mind. How could a mere centurion from a local area leap several ranks in such a short time to reach the most powerful center of the Fast Empire? In a moment of impulsiveness and carelessness, he had inexplicably become a current murderer. The result would not only be being reduced to his original status, but he might even lose his life.
Looking back on it all, it feels like a dream, and now it's time to wake up.
