The next morning, as Dennis headed to school with Daisy, he explained everything to her. They had left Destiny at home with Diana, Dahlia, Donna, Deborah, and Daphne, under the watchful eye of Dulcia, whom Dennis had asked to look after the baby. Once Daisy understood his explanation, she spoke up.
"So... you're sure it was Bella who left Destiny at our door?" Daisy asked.
"Yeah, that's why we're talking to Rika today. She's Bella's friend, so maybe she has her number. We have to talk to Bella one way or another," Dennis answered.
Daisy looked down, her face appearing a bit sad. Seeing this, Dennis immediately reached out to put his arm around her, but Daisy pulled away, leaving Dennis confused.
"You... don't want Destiny to stay with us, do you?" Daisy asked.
"Wait, it's not that. Before deciding anything, I just want to know where Destiny came from," Dennis replied.
"What if she actually turns out to be Bella's kid?" Daisy asked.
