Chapter 36 - Chapter 36: The First Mission

A month passed in the National Awakener Academy.

The autumn air turned cooler, and the pace of training only intensified.

Krishak's days were packed with Hunter classes, combat practice, and library research.

At night, he cultivated and guided his hidden disciples through Master Kiran.

His reputation continued to grow.

Among first-year students, he was already recognized as the strongest.

Among the instructors, he was considered a once-in-a-generation prodigy.

Yet Krishak knew that true growth did not occur only within classrooms and training halls.

Real progress required facing the world beyond the academy walls.

That opportunity arrived sooner than expected.

One morning, Instructor Rajan entered the training hall holding a tablet.

"Today, your class will undertake its first supervised field mission."

Excited whispers spread through the room.

Rajan continued.

"A group of mutated Ironhide Boars has been damaging farms approximately thirty kilometers from the academy."

"Your objective is to assist in eliminating the threat."

He looked around at the students.

"This is not a game."

"If you panic, someone may die"

The room fell silent.

The students were divided into teams of five.

Krishak was assigned to a group with:

Rohan Malik

• Aisha Khan

Vikram Rathore

Neeraj Singh

Rohan grinned.

"With you here, I feel much better."

Vikram folded his arms but said nothing.

Aisha gave a polite nod.

Neeraj looked nervous.

Instructor Rajan addressed them one final time.

"Follow orders, work as a team, and return safely."

The teams traveled by armored transport vehicle.

As the countryside passed outside the windows, tension grew.

Some students tried to appear confident.

Others sat in uneasy silence.

Krishak used the time to study his teammates.

Rohan was dependable.

Aisha was observant.

Vikram was powerful but proud.

Neeraj lacked confidence.

Their success would depend on cooperation.

The transport stopped near a damaged farming village.

Several fences were destroyed, and deep tracks marked the earth.

Instructor Rajan gathered the students.

"Ironhide Boars possess thick hides and powerful charges."

"Do not confront them recklessly."

Krishak sensed the creatures before they appeared.

Five large beasts emerged from the nearby forest.

Each stood over two meters tall.

Their tusks gleamed like steel.

One boar charged directly at Neeraj.

He froze.

Before the creature could strike, Krishak intercepted it.

He pivoted, redirected the charge, and struck a precise point behind its shoulder.

The boar collapsed instantly.

The surrounding students stared in shock.

"Move!" Krishak called.

The command snapped the team into action.

Rohan engaged another boar head-on.

Aisha used wind blades to target weak points.

Vikram unleashed powerful strikes, visibly determined to prove himself.

Encouraged by Krishak's intervention, Neeraj regained his composure and supported the others.

Within minutes, all five beasts were defeated.

No students were seriously injured.

Instructor Rajan examined the battlefield.

He stopped beside the boar Krishak had defeated.

"One strike."

He looked at Krishak.

"You knew exactly where to hit."

Krishak answered calmly.

"I studied their anatomy in the library."

Rajan gave a short laugh.

"Of course you did."

As the team returned to the academy, Vikram remained unusually quiet.

Eventually, he spoke.

"Thank you for saving Neeraj."

Krishak nodded.

"We are teammates.

It was not an apology, but it was the first sincere statement Vikram had directed toward him.

That alone marked progress.

Back at the academy, each student received merit points for the successful mission.

Their practical scores were updated.

Krishak's performance further strengthened his position as the top-ranked first-year student.

That night, he stood by his dormitory window.

The mission had confirmed what he already knew.

Knowledge, discipline, and teamwork were as important as personal strength.

Earth had potential.

It simply needed guidance.

Krishak looked toward the stars.

The journey ahead remained long.

But step by step, he was building the foundation for a stronger future.
