"Since the vow is completed. Do you believe me now?" The archaic tone boomed.
William walked toward him and stopped just before his head and asked, "Why are you doing this? I thought you have plenty of hidden trump cards over me."
The dragon sighed and said, "There is many reasons. I couldn't say all that matter now as you are too weak. It will only hamper your future. So, I'll get to the point. This dragon have gone to several worlds and universes and I cause havocs and devours as I please. But I got carried away and now I'm in this situation. Plus, I've aged a lot even for a primordial dragon. All these years, I've done everything I please but there was still one thing that was troubling me after trapping in this place for aeons. I want to continue my legacy. A good seedling who could evoke their spiritual root."
"Spiritual root?" William was not familiar with the term.
"Little mouse, listen carefully. I'll not repeat again. Every beings in the multi-verse are searching for the pinnacle of cultivation and to walk outside the Samsara free from death. Every beings have different bodies and constituents so some cultivate either for their Spirit, Yuan Qi or Soul. Spirit cultivation focused on their bodies, Yuan Qi with laws of the Universes also use their dentian to cultivate it and the Soul cultivation which was the strangest and the toughest of all— cultivate using soul. But from my experience, my dragon body is already strong to be born with. As I evolved my spiritual body grew in strength exponentially. Also I learned to cultivate using the Yuan Qi. Then I learned as one who got higher in the ladder of the cultivation one needed a strong foundation of all three- Spirit, Yuan Qi Laws and Soul. So, I turned to Soul Cultivation technique. Then I began to rapidly climb in my cultivation leaving my peers in the dust."
"But you still don't answer my question." William asked, "Why do you choose me? I'm just a human who happen to be the owner of the pendant. Nothing more."
"Nothing more. You are looking down on yourself. That pendant is trapping me for countless aeons and you happened to be acknowledged by it. If it is luck then it is also a talent hardly possessed by anyone." The dragon added, "I don't need any dragon or human or other races to gain my legacy because what I need is someone who could evoke their spiritual root. Right now what you're going through is exactly that. Alright, time to stabilize your Spirit. Follow all my instruction."
The dragon stood up rattling the sound from all those chains. He had five limbs.
William walked forward and his size was less than an ant as he got closure to the dragon.
When he was underneath the massive beast, an archaic voice chimed. "Alright, stay there, I'll evoke the Heavenly tribulation once again. Try using the lightning to temper your soul and used the remaining of my dragon blood essence in your body to temper your body too. Only then will you began your true cultivation with Soul and Spirit as your beginning. Forget the mess up meridian. When your spiritual body gained strength with time use the dragon bloodline to devour the old meridian and create your own new meridian, a true dragon meridian. Now, are you ready?"
William absorbed every knowledges and thought it was really his lucky day for the Dragon to take a U-turn and now he didn't need the Beast Talisman from the king and further don't need to join the trial he came here to gain the Talisman Of Beast Contract to bind the dragon.
"Yes, I'm ready!" he replied and looked high above in the sky.
The Dragon roared and the black flame began to act again chewing over the Heavenly Tribulation Lightning.
The white bolt of lightning reacted again. This time even more furious. It sent down a thick beam of white lightning and struck over the Dragon's back. It was like a heavenly punishment for being defiance against it.
"More. Is that all you got? I need more." The archaic voice further provoking the heaven itself.
This time ten thick beam of lightning zapped and struck all over his body.
"Now, boy, I'll sent a negligible about of the heavenly tribulation to cleanse your soul and then your body. You have bore the pain until the end. And try digesting the remaining drop of my Dragon Blood Essence." The dragon instructed.
William nodded.
An azure and slightly blacken lightning passed through the dragon body and shower over William's soul. His body back in the outside world also experience the same thing. This purified heavenly tribulation course all through his body.
William felt an excruciating pain he had never experience even before in his previous life. This pain came from both his body and soul. Plus, the lightning had a strong nomological law of Dominance, breaking anything filthy and the cleansing began both in his soul and spirit.
The dragon watched William both his body and soul. At first, he had some doubt whether the human boy could last for a minute. But several minutes passed and the frowning face of William was quickly turned to tranquil smile. As if he was enjoying the pain.
"Do I take in a bastard who enjoy being in pain as my disciple? Anyway, I too felt alive when I feel such pain again." Saying that, the dragon began to laugh maniacally.
Under the effect of the heavenly lightning, various filth present in William's soul were cleaned and after that it began to recreate again giving a large amount of vitality to his soul.
Before William's soul body was like a transparent air. But now, it was turning liquid as if his soul was made up of liquid. And at the same time, outside in the real world, William's body also excreted black dirt. His skin turned redder like an overheated iron. The lightning struck on it and burnt only a minuscule portion of the dragon essence blood. In turned a purest form of energy spread all over his body reconstructing those destroyed portion of meridians.
Only after the end of creating the meridian, the lightning transversed and entered into his dantian which was void of any Yuan Qi. Now there was a shard of tribulation lightning slumbering inside his dantian.
Plus, the aura of the General over his body was repelled with a full throttle, almost making the war general to stumble over the ground.
From William's body a reddish misty aura produced covering his body like a outer protective layer.
He waked up and nodded, "Thank you for your help. I, William will not forget this kindness in this life." His words were meant for both the war general and the dragon. The war general's aura helped him with his new gain and also the most credit to the dragon. But the dragon was already his teacher. So, he didn't need to say aloud.
The war general was taken aback. "Oh, the kid manage to learn the Spiritual Aura! That too seem to be the most profound I've even seen before." He muttered and nodded.
Silver who was attacking also stopped when she heard William's voice. She was all exhausted but dashed and hugged William tight.
