Cassie saw Ralph and Arabelle leave the castle earlier. Her jealousy is making her irrational so she followed them out there. She realized that they were on a dinner date which made her fumed more. Even if she grew up with Ralph, he never brings her out to eat. All she did was to learn and do things for him. That's why she wanted to become a vampire. She thought that if she became one, he would finally notice her but he still ignores her now.
She took a seat on the table where they would not notice her presence. It's a perfect spot since she can see them and they can't. She wants to observe if Arabelle is really Sofia's reincarnation. Although she never believed that she was. When Ralph told her about Arabelle, she was envious. Although she knows that he will not pay attention to her if she doesn't look that way. As much as she doesn't want to see it, Arabelle really looks like Sofia.
