Armand was able to do his daily chores now that he lives in the house where he grew up. He still remembers what his mother always told him to do before. That made him feel annoyed at her everyday. Now that he's an adult and lives alone, he's grateful she taught him well. He can't imagine not knowing how to do simple things around the house. Good thing his mother taught her how to cook at an early age. It's the most usable skill for him right now.
When he thinks about cooking, he knows that it's not just for food. Cooking for him also means brewing his potions since he needs fire with that too. The cauldron for his potions was his mother's. He likes using it since she already prepared that. It's ready to use so he doesn't need to deal with the lengthy ritual. He's glad that he can use his mother's cauldron again now that he's home. At least he's able to use it for his potions to sell out there.
