Chapter 68 - Beliefs

White Spirit didn't flinch."Seriously, you killed her guardian, you weren't supposed to do that."

"I didn't kill the child though." Said Reon with a deflected look.

"You will, just like the others. I don't wish for one divine to get reduced because of he was too prideful." White Spirit's words held quiet threat that didn't go unnoticed by Reon though he didn't say anything because even be knew that opposing night create too many unnecessary blocks.

"Divines are supposed to protect people instead of our of nowhere making someone's body bust." White Spirit began to turn into butterflies, disappearing quietly.

"We hold power, no one had told us that our existence 's purpose is to protect people. I will do as I please." He turned his back toward her as the counsciousness space started to disappear.

"No one said that doesn't mean. We shouldn't." White Spirit stopped disappearing mid process.

"Will you protect someone only when you are told to ?"

Reon didn't answer the question, White Spirit accepted the silence. She neither demanded answer, it wasn't first time they were arguing and everytime their argument had same end, same question yet he never answered her.

Then his vision opened in real world as the counsciousness space disappeared, his vision was blurry at first there was someone standing before him at the door, he blinked multiple times before his vision cleared.

A woman, Rosey's mother was standing there and Rosey herself was standing beside her gripping her mother's right hand.

"Where did you left my husband ?"

She asked not from angry, nor confusion. She was interpreting Reon as one of her husband's friend.

"Didn't Rosey tell ?" Reon glanced at the child and intensionally bad used her name just to exaggerate Rosey's belief even more.

"She did but it was unclear, like she was saying. Father did a magic and a lots of colour came out and then he slept in the road. Perhaps he was tired." Rosey's mother glanced at Rosey before turning her gaze back to Reon.

The child was glancing at both of them trying to understand their inner thoughts.

"Come here." Reon leaned forward lifting Rosey to his chest.

"I am going to call him then."

"Leave her here." To Rosey's mother the thought of her chid going with someone she doesn't know even if he looks like her husband's friend was making her feel uneasy.

"Don't worry about her." Reon turned backward upon seeing Rosey comfortable with him, her mother didn't push futher.

Reon began to head away with Rosey hands wrapped around his neck for more balance as he reached enough distance, Rosey's house's door was being shut though her mother can't help but stare longer at Rosey.

"Don't look." Reon said forcing Rosey's face forward away from her mother at first nothing seemed unusual just a mother staring at her child and a divine who just killed her husband was now taking her child too while she believed he was some friend of her husband.

Then a bone snapped in Rosey's mother's hand at first her mind failed to process what just happened then Rosey who was in Reon's hands only heard her mother's screams like every tiny part of Rosey's mother's body was being broken slowly and slowly.

When Rosey tried to look behind attracted by the screams, Reon forced her to look forward.

"People make that sound when they are happy." Reon tries to gaslight that little mind of Rosey's.

Rosey giggled partly amused by his statement."Really?"

The woman would have suffered anyway. I just gave temporary better then long term pain.

As they moved forward while the screams were interpreted as representation of happiness.

On the other side of a road a bit who just looked as Denu, beside him was a girl similar as Belly. They both were drinking a small bottle of colddrink even in a different timeline they were still together, moving with their small legs both unaware of what the future holds for them.

"I like wishes anyway." Denu threw the bottle in the near by dustbin, Belly listened him carefully, staring at the path.

The real Denu was still in the village trapped in his past self's body staring at his father who was communicating with lights.

"You should announce that no one should visit Niheart today because there will be My Ruler's marriage ritual as that area has already been cleaned."

Denu's father nodded in return and the lights headed off.

I couldn't find any way to go back and that is making me anxious. Am I going to relive my life ?

Denu clutched his teeth,

the thought of reliving everything was too overwhelming.

His father turned back to Denu.

"I am going to announce something. So, tell your mother about this."

Upon saying that he headed outside.

Denu moved upstairs, stopping before a room then knocked.

"Come in."

"When you started to knock?" She teased." You learnt manners perhaps."

"Father was saying that he are going to announce about something."

I want to go to Belly, is she even safe ?

Bluesy was standing before a six wings angel the one who had used "Parallel Flow" against Denu.

"'Child of Reality' amoung divines how disrespectful." He mocked, staring at Bluesy.

Bluesy's tails flicked side to side in confused.

"I know that but how is disrespectful ?"

"How am angel know this information? That 'Crown' rewrote their memories while forging." Lyanna turned behind.

"I am going to 'Identity' to complain about this, handle the 'Six wings'."

"Okay." Bluesy responded with motivation, then Lyanna used her claws nails to cut the space before jumping but she didn't turn behind from other were random things were floating, animals, papers mostly, huts and so on, she didn't close the crack.

"You are the last on then White Spirit will awake everyone." Bluesy didn't move from her place, it wasn't confidence but certainty.

"What a honour, that I am standing before 'Child of True Reality.'"

He moved closing the distance between himself and Bluesy, his fist was about to connect with her nose though his whole hand was sliced into micro pieces those were uncountable, then he was thrown behind by a unknown force, for a moment he didn't even realise what just happened though Bluesy hasn't even moved even a little from her place.

"What was that ?" Blood began to pour from his shoulder, the pain flooding his brain but he endured it.

"Huh? You don't know." Bluesy commented with puzzled expression, her tails movements slowed down.

"Too confident that's why you are just standing there." He was bristling, her not taking him even a bit seriously was hurting his pride, her not even trying to fight him was disrespectful to his strength, to his ego and ability to make beings below himself knee.

"Believe me, you won't even be able to take a finger twitch of my finger and I don't want destruction." Bluesy's tone was completely normal, like that should be obvious why she isn't fighting back.

"So, you want to play this way." He took his stance." I know my death is inevitable, if I able to even scratch you that would be biggest achievement for me."

He sprinted and started revolving around Bluesy at a speed that might distract a "World Ruler" but she was beyond speed.

She was more confused then impressed and unimpressed.

Why is he even doing this pointless revolving ?

To the world his movements were creating after images of him though he was inside cause and affect. However in Bluesy's perspective he was just one who is just running, almost like a rabbit watching a turtle's walk.

Then, he moved, aiming for back of her head, his leg was bent instantly as it reached her orbit and he was thrown backward ones again, the result was same but instead of being sliced, his got bent.

"What is stopping me ?" He opened his back's wings, and began to float mid-air, his leg now was a useless part of his body.

Bluesy turned toward him."Why don't you end yourself ?"

He didn't respond, his eyes locked with hers.

"Parallel Flow."

Two wings materialized above him, Bluesy's mouth opened in tiny "awe" those wings moved sending a blow toward her but instead of Bluesy being hit by it, he was the one who got struck by the blow, like air itself had changed it's direction, his soul shook but he wasn't sent in past.

"Why wasn't I sent back to my friends ?"

Images of his friends flashed before his eyes, all of them from different species of "Angels"

"Even though my own blow hit it."

"Because angels don't have past." Lyanna came back from the same crack, her voice precise.

Annoyance crosses his face at her words because he has a past, he has lived it, he has felt it.
