After finishing off Ethan, Enforcer Robin was chasing Yohan. On the other side, Commander Broody had launched an attack with his boys against the remaining members of the Hayes Gang. After a merciless brutal fight, the Hayes Gang was left in a near-broken state. Broody finally stopped and looked toward Rodriguez before asking, "Before we finish them, should we ask if they can be taken into the gang? We could use the extra manpower."
Rodriguez pushed himself away from the wall and stood up. "Nah. We don't need them. They're a liability. The Boss and the Disciplinarian only care about the other Crew Heads. And after what you did to that bastard, there's no use in taking his gang either."
Rodriguez's last words were spoken while looking at Ethan's lifeless body.
"Okay."
With that, Broody twisted the neck of the boy he was holding, ending his struggle.
Meanwhile, Rodriguez tried calling Robin. But there was no answer for a long time. Suddenly, one of their men shouted from the mouth of the alley, "Sir! The police are coming!"
"Police?!"
An alarm spread throughout the alley.
Rodriguez quickly shoved his phone back into his pocket and ordered everyone, "There's no point standing around anymore. Everybody run!!!"
Every member of Wild Stomp immediately fled for their lives, running until the sound of the police vehicles had completely disappeared into the distance.
Mr. James was a longtime resident of the area. Among his many friends was Mr. Brannan, a police inspector stationed in the area. After receiving Mr. James's desperate request over the phone, he gathered the necessary details about Yohan and immediately left the police station.
Following the sound of the police vehicles, Rodriguez and the members of Wild Stomp had already fled. The police entered the alley and discovered the injured bodies of numerous young men scattered throughout the area.
Mr. James's phone began to ring. The caller was Mr. Brannan.
"Jonathan, the situation is very serious. It looks like the city may be facing another gang war. We just found a gang inside an alley. But the frightening part is that they have already been caught up in some kind of gang conflict. The gang's head and another member have been killed, while nearly forty other members are seriously injured. We've called ambulances. We'll try to stabilize them and get them into custody as quickly as possible. But we're more concerned about the other gangs still roaming around the city."
Hearing those words, Mr. James trembled.
"Then... what about Yohan?"
Mr. Brannan immediately tried to reassure him. "We'll find Yohan today. Don't worry. We're extremely busy right now, but we're handling the situation. Stay calm."
The call ended.
Fear pounded inside Mr. James's chest. But he decided not to tell his daughter about the news. Luna was already extremely worried about Yohan. If she heard about a possible gang war as well, it would only make her more stressed.
Meanwhile, deep inside the dark, overgrown part of the park, something entirely different was happening.
Robin was running tirelessly through the vegetation with his men, searching every corner for Yohan.
Sweat ran down Robin's forehead as worry crept into his voice.
"Shit! He escaped into the woods again."
In reality, when Yohan had entered the park and appeared in front of them, he had deliberately drawn their attention before disappearing back into the darkness of the vegetation. Since then, they hadn't been able to see him.
But something far more terrifying had happened.
One by one, members of Robin's team were mysteriously disappearing.
Fifteen men had entered the park with Robin. Now there were only seven.
The last time they had seen Yohan, he had been sitting on a tree branch above them. His body was almost completely concealed by the darkness, while his pale green eyes glowed from the shadows. Then they had chased after him, and he disappeared again. They never saw him after that.
Eventually, only one man remained beside Robin. Robin suddenly stopped and turned around.
The man was gone too.
Robin froze. He was now completely alone.
In the darkness surrounding him, the realization finally struck him: he had fallen into the hands of an enemy he had never expected.
Fear crept through him. Robin slowly looked around. There was no one.
No footsteps.
No movement.
Nothing.
Gathering his courage, he suddenly shouted, "YOHAN! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?"
His voice echoed through the trees.
Silence followed.
Not even a rustle.
Robin nervously turned around, and then a voice came from above, "I'm here."
Robin slowly raised his head. High above him, on a thick tree branch, someone was sitting in the darkness, balanced casually on his feet. Two pale green eyes glowed from beneath the shadows as they stared directly at him.
Robin instinctively took two steps backward. Fear was visible in his eyes, yet he forced a smile onto his face, "What the hell are you?"
