Alright everyone, this is the final Chapter 50. I ended up noticing a continuity error in the story in Chapter 50 and had to fix it— Normal altor
Klaus was busy beating Stefan for stealing the coffins when he heard—
"Hello, brother."
The voice echoed, and Klaus turned back with a wary look.
At the far end of the room, he saw Elijah approaching from the corner.
"Great… looks like the Salvatores set you free," Klaus snarled, his hybrid eyes flashing. "But you can't do anything. I'm the hybrid… I'm invincible."
Klaus roared with all his strength, glaring at Elijah with hatred.
"You can't win," he growled.
Elijah simply smiled.
"You know, I've learned not to trust your promises," he said, stepping aside.
Two young women entered carrying daggers on trays, and Damon appeared beside Elijah.
Then a young man, no older than nineteen, walked into the room.
"KOL?" Klaus's eyes widened, and he took a step back in fear. Everything around him seemed to stop, as if time itself had frozen.
He rushed toward the daggers—
But before he could reach them, another hand grabbed one.
It seized Klaus's hands.
A man in his late thirties or early forties stood there—the one holding the dagger.
"Finn?" Klaus called out in fear. "Aaahhh!"
He screamed in pain as Finn drove the dagger into his hand.
Time slowed again—
Klaus dashed to the other side, but Rebekah was already there.
"This is for mother," she said, attacking him and stabbing his stomach.
"Aaahhh!" Klaus cried out again in pain.
Before he could fall, Kol grabbed him and restrained him.
Elijah looked at Damon and Stefan, who was lying on the floor, and said:
"You're free."
Damon helped Stefan up, and they left, leaving only the Originals behind.
"You think this will end like this?" Klaus growled, struggling against Kol's grip.
He broke free—
Time seemed to stop again as he and Kol exchanged blows.
Everything moved in slow motion, yet they were incredibly fast. To them, it felt like they were fighting as humans… against humans.
Their powers were equal—but to anyone who wasn't an Original, their movements would be impossible to see.
Klaus was faster.
He began to overpower Kol—
Until Finn joined the fight and knocked Klaus down.
Klaus tried to get up, but Rebekah kicked him in the face, sending him flying across the room.
Before he could hit the ground, Elijah caught him—
And slammed him down with force.
Klaus coughed up blood.
A wooden splinter from the floor had pierced his heart.
But since he was a hybrid, it didn't knock him out—
It just hurt like hell.
He didn't get up.
"It's over, Nik," Rebekah said, looking at him. "We're leaving."
"If you go… I will hunt you," Klaus roared from the ground, defeated but still burning with pride.
"And what are you now? Our father?" Kol asked, clearly comparing Klaus to Mikael.
"I killed Mikael," Klaus said, with a tone of victory. "We don't need to be afraid anymore, siblings… we don't need to run."
He was doing everything he could not to be abandoned.
Everyone froze.
The weight of that revelation hit them all.
Footsteps echoed.
They all turned—
And were shocked to see the blonde woman.
"Mother?" Rebekah said in disbelief.
"Hello, my children," Esther said with a gentle smile.
"Did you come to kill me?" Klaus asked, almost on the verge of tears, a strange mix of fear and guilt in his voice.
"No, my son… I only want my family," Esther said softly. "Our family is almost complete here."
None of the Originals understood what she meant.
"Ah-choo!"
Nik sneezed and looked around.
As he tried to get up, Caroline pulled him back into bed.
"Nik, go back to sleep," Caroline murmured, biting his shoulder playfully. "My mom finally let me sleep here with you."
"Someone's talking about me," Nik said, shaking his head before lying back down.
