Katherine gave Cassandra time to absorb the distinction. Only then did she look Martin over, and the seriousness in her expression softened into playful interest. "Alexandra claimed the first date, Elisebeth refused to release his sleeve, and now we've occupied both hands. My bad boy with a good soul has been busy without me."
Martin's arm tensed between Katherine's breasts, drawing a pleased smile from her.
Cassandra glanced at her. "You've called him that before?"
"It was the first thing I told Alex about him. I was right too." Katherine traced one finger along his forearm. "I've also discovered that calling him a good boy has a rather useful effect."
"Katherine, Cassandra doesn't need a complete report on everything that flusters me."
"Of course she does. How else can she make an informed decision?" Katherine turned her attention to Cassandra. "What do you think? How should we punish our bad boy?"
