"I don't know what I'm going to do!" Lilith sobbed. "I'm so angry at you...I'm so hurt...and I don't know if I can trust you..."
"Then don't trust us," Nicholas said, and he pulled out and flipped her onto her back. "Just feel this."
He thrust back inside her and this time the angle was different, deeper, and Lilith's eyes rolled back.
"Feel how perfectly you fit around me," Nicholas continued, his hips snapping forward in a rhythm that made coherent thought impossible. "Feel how your body responds to mine. Feel the bond between us singing."
Lilith could feel it. Could feel everything he was feeling through their connection....his guilt, his fear of losing her, his desperate love.
"I feel it," she whispered.
"And?" Nicholas demanded.
"And I don't know if it's enough."
Nicholas groaned and his rhythm faltered. Then he pulled out and Sebastian was there immediately, entering her before she could catch her breath.
