The thought should have terrified her. Should have raised a thousand questions about what was possible and what the implications were.
But instead it just made her feel....less alone.
Lilith forced herself out of bed despite the soreness and made her way to the bathroom.
A hot shower helped ease some of the ache in her muscles. She stood under the spray for longer than necessary, letting the heat seep into her body while her mind raced.
