No One's Pov
With a soft click, the lock turned, and the door swung open. Vivien peered out into the dimly lit hallway, her eyes scanning the surroundings.
Everything was completely dead. It was incredibly suspicious because of how quiet it was. A grand villa like this should have had guards pacing the floors or staff moving about, but the entire corridor was draped in silence.
"Is it supposed to be like this?" Vivien muttered under her breath.
A nagging feeling in her gut warned her that too much opportunity is only like a trap. It felt almost too easy. But then again, she didn't have much time in hand. She had to escape anyhow, no matter the risks. She couldn't afford to sit around and wait for Enzo to drag her into some psycho ritual. She forced herself to think back to the last time she had visited this estate.
