"Welcome back home " Andriana smiled seeing the warm welcome.
Mira led her to the terrace outside where they had prepared a welcome party for her.
She giggled seeing the lights, chairs and food all ready.
"Oh my was all this necessary" she laughed.
"Definitely was ...I need an excuse to drink. And David is here " whispered Mira.
"Oh alright but don't overdo it " she said.
Karlye sat next to her watching the others start to enjoy themselves.
They heard the doorbell and Rosie stood up rushing away.
"Everyone officially meet my friends " she returned with two other girls.
"Guys this is my sister and her boyfriend " Rosie pointed out.
Andriana waved back at the girls who beamed.
"This is Jenny and Susan" she introduced.
"Oh my she's so beautiful " they giggled.
Andriana blushed, "Well, thank you . Please enjoy the party " she said.
Rosie took them to where Mira and Samantha to introduce them too.
"Good evening " Andriana heard someone say behind her , she looked back to see Arthur.
"Hello Arthur " said Karlye.
"Hello Mr.lockhart, and Miss Andriana I got you some fresh strawberries from our farm" he offered.
Andriana gave him a cold smile and took them. She realised the packaging looked familiar.
"Your farm ....what do you mean they are from your farm ?" she asked.
"His family owns the biggest strawberry farm. They produce other different products but their best are the strawberries " explained Karlye.
"Wait, the strawberries I have been obsessed with are from their farm ?" she asked.
Both men nodded.
"When I found out how you love them I was glad. Thank you for supporting us ...and please keep enjoying them" he gave his best smile.
She nodded.
Susan who had noticed Arthur called to him.
"Come join us " she said.
Arthur excused himself and joined his friends.
"Still don't like him ?" Karlye asked Andriana.
"I can't say ....but am sure something happened between him and Rosie". She answered.
"Is this because of that night she came crying ?"
She nodded, "Rosie didn't say anything but I know she couldn't have been sad for no reason "
"Maybe it was something else , how sure are you it was about him ?" Karlye passed her some juice.
She looked back at them, "See how she is avoiding his gaze, even the distance between them isn't the same. He always wanted to be beside her ...and did you notice how he didn't come in with the other two, something's definitely going on "
Karlye chuckled.
"You're very observant, but I think we should let her solve it by herself ".

"Is it me or is your sister glaring at Arthur " Susan whispered to Rosie.
Rosie sighed, "Yeah, she does that a lot when he's around ".
"I don't think she likes you " Jenny said to Arthur.
Arthur who had been staring at Rosie blinked.
"Oh, what did you say ?" he asked.
Jenny and Susan giggled.
"Maybe it's because you keep staring at her sister like that "
Rosie excused herself and Arthur sighed.
The two girls turned to Arthur.
"One minute you two are close then the next she can't even look at you ...why dont you apologise to her again" asked Jenny.
"Excuse me, I'm going to talk to her " he said following Rosie.
Jenny and Susan watched him leave.
"So do you know what is going on between those two " Mira and Samantha moved closer to the two girls.
Jenny blinked, "Well, we are not sure if it's what we think but something did happen at school ".
Susan joined in, "his girlfriend claimed Rosie was coming between Arthur and her".
"She made a big scene, Arthur defended Rosie which made it worse" said Jenny.
"And I think her group of friends has been harassing her especially when she is alone " said Susan.
Mira frowned, "So, is that why she is avoiding him ?".
Both girls nodded.
"And here I thought he was single, so he's a liar ...like someone I know " Mira glanced at David who had been close enough to hear.
"I don't think Andriana will like this ...do you think we should tell her ?" asked Samantha.
"No, since Rosie decided not to let's not. And with the way she glares at him, this will make it worse " Mira let out.

"Rosie....Rosie " Arthur called after her.
Rosie didn't stop running , she had escaped into the garden.
"Please Arthur go away. I don't want to talk to you right now " she cried.
"But we need to talk ....we ....I can't go on like this " he yelled.
She stopped looking back, "Arthur I don't want any more problems from her and if my sister finds out I'm getting into trouble at school cause of something this stupid ....she ....I just don't want to disappoint her "
His pace had slowed, and Arthur stood in front of her listening to her words.
"I promise to talk to her ....she won't bother you anymore, so please talk to me and stop avoiding me".he pleaded.
Rosie wiped her tears.
"You don't understand, I can't be friends with you anymore. I don't want to be labelled as someone who steals other people's boyfriends"
She cried ..." Soo please stay away from me "
He took a step closer and she paced back.
"Rosie I can't do that ....I don't want to " he let out.
She scoffed, "Then I will do that for you. I appreciate all you did for me when I had just joined school but let's now pretend to not know each other. It would've been good for both of us "
He moved grabbing her by the arms.
"Didn't you hear me ...I can't do that " he raised his voice as his hold on her arms tightened.
She froze as fear filled her eyes.
"You're hurting me " her tears fell.
Arthur let go of her instantly the moment he noticed the fear in her eyes, "I am sorry, I...I ..didnt mean to ".
She moved back.
"I know but I think it's time you left "
He sighed nodding.
"I am really sorry I didn't mean to hurt you " he apologised then turned and left.
