*Sapphire spins to face Starfire, hissing defiantly.* "You may love him, alien—but he didn't choose you. He chose ME." *Her claws flex, ready to slash.* "And Vesparianer females don't share their mates until we're done with them."
*Raven steps between them, her cloak darkening.* "Back off, cat girl."
before things get ugly max steps in between them " OK, OK everyone Just relax and breathe."
*Sapphire's ears flatten against her head as she glares at Max, but she takes a step back, her tail still lashing.* "Females always complicate things," *she mutters, shooting another possessive look at you.* "He is my mate. You cannot change that."
*Starfire floats slightly, fists clenched.* "He is not property!"

The next morning
*Max opens his eyes to find Sapphire sprawled possessively across his chest, her tail wrapped around his leg and her face nuzzled into his neck. Her golden eyes are already open, watching him with a satisfied smirk.*
"Good morning, my mate." *She purrs, her claws tracing lazy patterns on his skin.* "You sleep soundly. I've been awake for hours..."
*Sapphire's smirk grows wider, her tail tightening possessively.* "Mhm... I watched you sleep. You're even more handsome in the morning." *She leans up to press a soft kiss to his jaw.* "And your scent is stronger too. It's driving me crazy..."
"Don't do anything crazy." he says, looking down on here.
*Sapphire giggles, a low rumbling purr in her chest.* "Crazy? Me?" *She traces a claw along his collarbone teasingly.* "I'm just... admiring what's mine."
*Her ears twitch suddenly, and she frowns, lifting her head.*

*Before Max can react, his bedroom door swings open.*standing there with a furious look are Starfire and raven.
*Starfire's eyes are blazing with green fire, her fists clenched.* "Sapphire! You cannot simply claim him like property! He is a person with free will!"
*Raven's hood is up, her eyes glowing white with barely contained power.* "Get. Off. Him."
*Sapphire's ears flatten, hissing as she bares her fangs.* "No."
Before things escalate, he teleports to the other side of the room " OK, She's not on me can you guys please not destroy this place?"
*Starfire hovers in place, breathing heavily but calming slightly.* "She was all over you like a hungry Tamaranean!"
*Sapphire scrambles off the bed, her tail flicking indignantly.* "He's MINE. I claimed him first!"
*Raven steps forward, her black cloak billowing.* "Claimed him? He never agreed to that."
"OK, that's enough. Why don't we just go eat breakfast? I think Cyborg is cooking."
*Cyborg's voice echoes from the kitchen.* "Breakfast is ready! You guys taking forever!" *The tension in the room dissipates slightly as everyone moves towards the kitchen, but Sapphire can't help giving Max a possessive look as he walks past her.* "My mate..."
Deciding to Ignore her for a time being he left the room with her, following with them arriving at the dinner table with peace boy eating his veggies.
*Beast Boy looks up from his pile of tofu scramble and vegetables, waving.* "Hey guys! What took you so long?" *He notices the tension.* "Uh... everything okay?"
*Cyborg flips pancakes at the stove.* "Food's hot! Dig in!"
*Sapphire slides into the seat immediately next to Max, her tail curling around the chair leg possessively.*
He tries to eat only for her to smack down. He looks at her as she tries to feed him.
*Sapphire smirks, lifting a forkful of eggs to his mouth.* "Let me feed you, my love. You need your strength." *She bats her eyelashes innocently, ignoring the glares from Starfire and Raven across the table.*
"I can feed myself."
*Sapphire pouts, lowering the fork.* "But I want to take care of you..." *She leans closer, whispering loudly.* "It's a Sapphireian mating ritual. The female feeds the male to show dominance and possessiveness." *Starfire's face turns green with jealousy.*
"Fine"
*Sapphire beams, resuming her feeding mission with exaggerated care.* "Good boy..." *She coos, completely disregarding the murderous looks from Starfire and Raven. Beast Boy and Cyborg exchange confused glances but keep eating their own food.* "Open wider..."
*Sapphire shoves the forkful of eggs into Max's mouth, her tail wrapping around his wrist possessively. As he chews, she leans in and kisses his cheek, marking him publicly.* "Mmm, so cute when you eat..." *Starfire's jealousy reaches critical levels.*
"I can finish eating on my own."
*Sapphire huffs but reluctantly lets him grab his own fork, though her tail remains wrapped firmly around his wrist.* "Fine... but I get to sit next to you and touch you whenever I want."
*Raven rolls her eyes.* "You're disgusting."
*Starfire floats slightly off her seat.* "He is not a mate until HE chooses—" *Beast Boy drops his fork.*
"Beast boy, cyborg if you're done eating, you can go play video games in the reality simulator."
*Cyborg immediately catches on, standing up.* "Yeah, I'm done. You coming, Beast Boy?" *Beast Boy nods gratefully, grabbing his plate.* "Hell yeah! Let's go virtual gaming." *The two of them escape the tense breakfast table.*
"OK now that they're gone we need to have an actual in-depth conversation about this."
*Raven leans forward, her eyes glittering dangerously.* "About how Sapphire is acting like a possessive, insane girlfriend?" *Starfire nods vigorously, her green hair sparkling with jealous energy.* "Exactly! You hasn't even chosen her as your mate yet!"

*Sapphire blinks innocently.* "Yes, dear?" *Her tail squeezes Max's wrist affectionately.* "You need more juice? More food? More kisses?" *Starfire growls low in her throat.* "He doesn't need more kisses from you!" *Raven sighs.*
"OK then, how about we discuss our relationship all three of us like rational adults."
*Raven nods approvingly.* "Finally." *Starfire crosses her arms, her eyes narrowing.* "About time we had a serious conversation about this mess." *Sapphire pouts but nods, her tail unwrapping slightly from Max's wrist.* "Okay... let's talk."
*Raven leans forward, eyes glowing slightly.* "First—Sapphire, you need to understand that Max is not property. You can't just 'claim' him like territory." *She points a finger.* "He has free will. You claiming him without his consent is... predatory."
*Starfire nods rapidly.* "Yes! Exactly!" *She turns to Max.*
"what they're trying to say is I'm my own person and you need to understand that they are also as important to me As I am to you."
*Sapphire's ears droop, her tail unwrapping completely from his wrist. She looks down at the table, her voice small.* "But... I chose you. You're supposed to be mine..."
*Starfire softens slightly.* "Love is not possession, Sapphire. It is... sharing. Caring. Respecting."
*Raven nods, her tone gentler now.*
"Love takes time. I barely know you when I get to know you better then we'll discuss that stuff.
*Sapphire's ears slowly perk up, a flicker of hope in her golden eyes.* "So... you're not rejecting me? You just want to... know me first?"
*She fidgets with her tail, looking uncharacteristically shy.* "I... I can do that. I can wait."
*Starfire smiles warmly.* "See? That is reasonable."
"OK, then now that that settled as far as our relationship goes all the three of us what are we?"
*Raven tilts her head thoughtfully, her black cloak shifting slightly.* "We're friends. Close friends. But... if you're asking if we want to be more than friends with you..." *She glances at Starfire, who nods eagerly.* "Yes. We do."
"so boyfriend and girlfriend."
*Starfire grins widely, her green eyes sparkling.* "Yes! Boyfriend and girlfriend with both of us!" *She floats excitedly.* "We can have dates, and cuddles, and kisses..." *Raven smiles more mysteriously.* "And maybe even share a bed someday."
*Sapphire's face breaks into a huge grin, her tail thumping happily against the chair.* "So... I can have my Max, but share him with Starfire and Raven?" *She looks around the table, seeking confirmation.* "We're all his girlfriends? Officially?"
"Yes, and you can't be jealous if you have a problem, say it."
*Sapphire bounces in her seat, clearly thrilled.* "Deal! No jealousy! ...Unless someone tries to take him away completely. Then I might hiss a little." *She giggles.*
*Raven smirks.* "As long as you understand boundaries, Sapphire. This is polyamory. Not ownership."
*Starfire beams.* "We can all love him equally!"
"OK then Cyborg beast boy come back in here. We need to talk about the tower."
*Cyborg and Beast Boy enter the room, looking curious.* "What's up?" *Cyborg asks, his mechanical eye scanning the group.* "You three look... serious." *Beast Boy sniffs the air.* "And... emotional. Did I miss something?"
"Not important remember why we went to the Fighting tournament anyways to get enough money so we can buy the Island out in the bay to make Titan tow. OK cyborg can you buy the land?"
Cyborg nods, his mechanical eyes flashing calculations. "Already on it, man." He pulls up a holographic display showing property listings. "The island in the bay—three acres, private, with existing structures that can be renovated. Price: $2.7 million. Tournament winnings: $3 million even." He grins. "We're good."
"You mean 100 million you and me both together got 100 million."
*Cyborg's eyes widen, his mechanical jaw dropping.* "Holy... right! With our combined fortunes..." *He swipes through the holographic display, updating the numbers.* "Buying that island is child's play. We could buy the whole damn bay if we wanted."
