Chapter 235 - The Ride Home

In their private compartment. Alexander and Cho watched outside the window.

Near the entrance, the twins sold off the enchanted photos of last night's dinner show.

Cho asked.

"Since you were with me last night. Did you get any photos?"

Alexander, who was holding her, kissed her and said.

"The twins know to make me copies."

"After all, I am their supplier."

The whistle blew, and they saw the twins quickly boarding the train.

The Hogwarts Express slowly pulled away from the castle.

Through the window, they watched as Hogwarts grew smaller and smaller until the towers finally disappeared behind the hills.

Alexander locked the door, and they quietly watched the scenery pass by.

Cho sighed softly.

"This year was hard."

Alexander nodded.

"Yes. It was very stressful. This year."

He gave her a quick squeeze.

"But I learned a lot."

Cho smiled.

"Me too."

Alexander let her go and began digging into his bag.

Cho raised an eyebrow.

"What did you bring this time?"

Alexander pulled out several boxes of snacks and drinks and placed them on the small table.

Cho saw all the snacks and asked.

"Usually, you don't have to bring this much chocolate. Why are there so many sweets this time?"

Alexander shurrged.

"For some reason, I feel like eating chocolate today."

Cho laughed.

Alexander checked the time and said.

"They'll be here any minute now."

Cho nodded knowingly.

Alexander leaned closer and gave her a gentle kiss.

"I love you."

Cho kissed him back softly.

"I love you too."

They began eating snacks while talking about the year.

The train rocked gently as it moved across the countryside.

Soon—

Knock knock.

Alexander waved his wand.

The door opened was unlocked and the door opened.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione stepped inside.

Hermione immediately looked at Alexander.

"Thank you again, Alex."

"For the Restorative Draught… and for everything this year."

Ron nodded.

"Yeah. I can't believe I got an award."

Harry smiled slightly.

"Thank you. I learned a lot this year."

Alexander waved a hand casually.

"No problem."

Then he leaned back dramatically.

"Remember… I'm a star student."

Everyone burst out laughing.

Ron shook his head.

"You really like saying that."

Alexander grinned.

"Because it's true."

After chatting for a few minutes, the trio left the compartment.

Not long after—

The door suddenly slammed open again.

Fred and George burst inside.

"Chen!"

"Emergency meeting!"

They sat down and forgot what they were saying, and immediately grabbed snacks and drinks and began eating.

Soon, the compartment was full of laughter.

They joked about the year.

The pranks.

The Chamber incident.

The awards.

Fred leaned forward.

"Oi! We have to go to Diagon Alley tomorrow."

George nodded.

"Yeah. Mum's making us buy Ron a new wand."

Fred continued.

"Percy's will be in charge."

George grinned.

"So we can sneak off and do some extra shopping."

Fred pointed at Alexander.

"You want to come?"

Alexander laughed.

"Well, you two are rich now."

Both twins instantly glared at him.

"Let's not talk about who's rich."

George crossed his arms.

"Yeah. Someone who casually hands out thousands of galleons."

Fred pointed dramatically.

"You're probably the richest student in Hogwarts."

Alexander shook his head.

"I'm definitely top ten."

"But... the richest student is someone you know."

The twins leaned forward instantly.

"Who?" Fred demanded.

"Guy or girl?" George asked.

Alexander smirked.

"Ron's best friend."

Both twins froze.

Then their eyes widened.

"No way!"

"Harry?!"

"How?!"

"Lies!"

But before Alexander could answer—

Both twins suddenly jumped up.

"We need to investigate this!"

"Immediately!"

And they ran out of the compartment.

Cho blinked.

"Does Harry really have that much money?"

Alexander nodded while eating a chocolate frog.

"Yeah. He just doesn't spend it."

Cho tilted her head.

"What did his parents do?"

"I only know they died young."

"So how much wealth did they leave Harry?"

Alexander shrugged slightly.

"Well, for starters…"

"Harry's great-great-grandfather invented Skele-Gro."

"And his grandfather created Sleekeazy's Hair Potion."

Cho's eyes widened.

"Wow."

She shook her head slowly.

"The way Harry dresses and acts…"

"He doesn't seem to realize how wealthy he is."

Alexander laughed.

"No one has told him, and he doesn't seem interested in learning about his family."

"Also, Harry is new to the magical world. He is lacking knowledge."

He shrugged.

"Unlike our families."

Cho laughed softly.

"That's true."

She leaned against him.

"Will you tell him?"

Alexander pointed at himself.

"Me?"

"No."

"Not my problem."

They both laughed.

Suddenly—

The compartment door burst open again.

The twins rushed back in.

"HE DOESN'T KNOW!" Fred screamed.

"He has NO IDEA how rich he is!" George complained.

Fred collapsed into the seat dramatically.

"This is painful to know."

George shook his head.

"The boy is sitting on a mountain of gold and still buys the cheapest sweets."

They continued complaining loudly while Alexander and Cho laughed.

Eventually—

The train began slowing down.

Through the window, the familiar sight of Platform Nine and Three-Quarters appeared.

Students began gathering their luggage.

The Hogwarts Express slowly rolled into the station.

Another year at Hogwarts had come to an end.
