The Five Great Gods are beings of immense power.
Even in the multiverse, they are among the greatest of all existences.
They are incomparably mighty.
Even the weakest among them can reboot the entire multiverse with a single thought.
Their existence is no longer physical.
Rather, they are the embodiment of rules and concepts.
They themselves are concepts, Laws, the very foundation that makes up the whole world.
Because of that,
they can split into countless avatars.
In every single universe, one of their incarnations exists.
It can be said that however many universes there are in the multiverse, that is how many avatars they possess.
Therefore,
the death of a single avatar is not something worth noticing to the mighty Five Great Gods.
It does not even raise the slightest ripple.
The mighty Galactus had not even paid attention to the death of that avatar.
However,
some powerful beings still noticed it.
And among the very strongest of them
was the most powerful existence among the Five Great Gods:
Annihilus.
Annihilus is one of the strongest beings in this world.
Aside from those nameless existences that cannot even be properly described, Annihilus stands at the very peak.
Even among the Five Great Gods, his power is among the greatest.
At his peak, Annihilus could even seize Eternity in one hand and toy with him like a marble.
His divine power could spread across nearly the entire universe.
His strength is simply beyond imagination.
His mental power is so overwhelming that he can even observe the entire multiverse at the same time.
The death of one of Galactus's avatars
is nothing more than a trivial matter to Annihilus.
But
Karl caught his attention.
Or rather,
Karl's identity as a human caught his attention.
"Interesting. A human mage actually killed Galactus?"
"Interesting. Very interesting indeed."
In the endless void, Annihilus's voice echoed out.
"In this world, there is actually a human with this kind of talent."
"Other than those mutants, there is actually a human with this kind of talent?"
With a single thought from Annihilus,
time itself began to flow backward before him.
For beings like him who stand within the River of Time,
time holds no meaning at all.
At any moment, they can trace a timeline back.
By rewinding the timeline, Annihilus quickly learned the truth of what had happened.
Then,
even on that face of his, which barely resembled a human one, an expression of astonishment appeared.
The destructive power around him began to tremble.
"A human actually comprehended five Laws? And every one of them is such a powerful Law?"
"So monstrous?"
"This level of talent is absurdly strong!"
"And he is not the kind of mutant favored by the Laws from birth. He comprehended all these Laws through his own power."
"How did he do it?"
Annihilus was extremely puzzled.
After all, just because the Laws seemed as common as dirt in Karl's hands
did not mean they were anything ordinary.
To normal powerhouses, Laws were still extraordinarily rare.
Most of them could only spend their entire lives cultivating a single Law.
After all,
comprehending a Law consumed an enormous amount of energy and focus. Most people simply did not have the talent to study multiple Laws.
Even if a single Law was incomplete and far from all-encompassing,
it was still not something most people could easily master.
But
why had this human comprehended five entire Laws?
And two of them were even mutually opposed Laws.
How exactly had he done that?
"Humanity can actually produce someone this powerful?"
"Could this race be about to rise again?"
"After splitting into the Eternals and the mutants, is the original race itself now about to rise as well?"
"Interesting. Truly interesting."
Annihilus muttered to himself.
At this moment,
he remembered Karl.
And in the vast multiverse,
An existence paying attention to Karl
was not just him alone.
Among the multiversal powerhouses with the closest ties to Kamar-Taj,
there was one in particular who had always thought highly of this junior of his.
Some time ago, because of the stimulus Karl had given him,
he had seriously cultivated within the River of Time for over ten thousand years and increased his strength.
By the time Karl had pushed both sides of his cultivation past the ninth level,
more than ten thousand years had already passed in the dimension where Agamotto resided.
After cultivating for ten thousand years, even Agamotto had started to feel a little bored.
So he turned his attention toward Karl.
And the moment he looked,
he saw an astonishing scene.
That brat Karl
had actually killed Galactus.
Honestly,
Agamotto was stunned on the spot.
A life-form from a single universe had killed one of Galactus's avatars.
How absurd was that?
Of course, Galactus was also the most ill-fated of the Five Great Gods in the multiverse.
He had been killed by Thanos, by Phoenix, by Ghost Rider, by Adam Warlock, by zombies, and even by Deadpool.
Basically, whenever something huge happened in the Marvel world, the unlucky one was almost always Galactus.
Because of that, he had long been called the unluckiest god among them.
But still,
which of the people who had killed Galactus was not outrageously abnormal?
Thanos had the Heart of the Universe, Phoenix had the Phoenix Force, and so on.
They all possessed ridiculously overpowered strength.
But what did Karl have?
He had no bloodline, no miraculous encounter. He was just a plain, ordinary human.
And yet, relying on his exceptional talent, he had cultivated such terrifying power
and actually killed Galactus?
Agamotto truly did not know what to say anymore.
The talent of this junior of his was a little too excessive.
He was the kind of existence who could overturn everything and rise against the odds through sheer talent alone.
That kind of talent was simply far too shocking.
Across the whole multiverse,
Agamotto had never seen a talent this monstrous.
"It's hard to imagine. If this kid keeps going like this, just how far will he end up?"
"Could it be that after countless years, another multiversal-tier godlike existence will appear?"
Agamotto could not help thinking that to himself.
If Karl really managed to do it,
then he would probably be creating an unprecedented example in this world.
In the Marvel world,
there are multiversal beings who are born that way, multiversal beings who get there through absurd advantages, and multiversal beings who are artificially created.
But there has never been one who cultivated his way to the multiversal level through astonishing talent alone.
If Karl really succeeded,
he might well blaze a trail no one in the entire Marvel world had ever walked before.
"Now that is something to look forward to."
"This kid only used a few years to reach the Skyfather level."
"I wonder how long it will take before he grows into a multiversal-tier existence?"
"A few thousand years? Or a few tens of thousands?"
"I just hope he does not surpass me in the future."
"I hope this kid can truly grow up and open a brand-new path."
Agamotto felt a sense of anticipation.
The road beyond the multiversal tier was simply too difficult to find.
With Karl's talent, he might really be able to open up a road ahead.
