Karl had no intention of wasting any more words on the First Firmament.
There was no telling what terrifying methods this ancient entity possessed.
What would happen if the bastard caught him with some unknown trick?
Karl had no idea what methods these ancient beings might possess.
Naturally, it was better to strike first than to be caught off guard!
The prismatic longsword in his hand flew straight toward the myriad sword waves.
Terrifying power of fundamental essence spread through the surrounding realms.
A vast number of dimensions shattered instantly.
The enormous dimensional sea in the deep layers erupted into a tremendous tsunami.
The blinding light even awakened several powerful creatures dwelling within the deep-layer dimensions.
Even those ancient beings began fleeing in every direction because of the terrifying attack.
"Such powerful fundamental essence."
"Such powerful individual will."
"It appears I was right about you."
The First Firmament used the word "powerful" twice in succession as he assessed Karl.
Even throughout his immeasurably long existence, someone possessing power at Karl's level was one in ten thousand.
"As expected of the person I chose."
"Your talent truly is extraordinary."
"Unfortunately, since you refuse to serve beneath me and help me reclaim this world, I have no choice but to destroy you."
"However, this body is far too weak. It can only withstand enough power for a single attack."
The First Firmament hesitated slightly.
He was uncertain whether one attack would be enough to kill Karl.
"Still, if I fail to kill him, there is nothing else I can do."
"I cannot remain here much longer."
The First Firmament could sense that several vast wills had already begun focusing their attention on him.
They belonged to the powerful gods of this world.
That was precisely what made him cautious.
He would not fear a single god acting against him.
However, if the Five Great Gods attacked together with the numerous other powerful beings of this world, even the First Firmament would be unable to withstand them.
How else had his body been shattered and sealed away all those years ago?
And that had only happened because of the aftermath of the Celestials' war.
"If you survive this attack, then you can consider yourself fortunate."
The First Firmament spoke arrogantly.
His overwhelming evil will began to condense.
Terrifying power gathered around him.
He drew an endless amount of energy together.
There was no elaborate technique behind his attack.
His immense will combined with the power of his fundamental essence, forming a colossal torrent of energy that surged toward Karl.
The terrifying energy torrent resembled a boundless ocean pouring down from the sky.
It was also like a tsunami ten thousand meters tall rising from the ground.
The attack had not even arrived, yet its astonishing divine might was already sweeping forward.
The overwhelming pressure directly shattered space and caused entire realms to collapse.
Even Karl felt as though he were suffocating.
The energy and fragmented debris surrounding him were crushed beneath that pressure.
Karl's heart tightened.
Gritting his teeth, he forced even more power from himself.
At that moment, his will, body, and soul became one.
Everything Karl possessed was poured into the sword.
The prismatic sacred sword blazed with light that surpassed its limits.
It was the physical manifestation of his soul and will.
It represented the path he had followed throughout his entire life.
It was the condensed brilliance of a sorcerer's lifelong path.
It was also the defiance of a mortal standing against a god!
Karl charged against the torrent.
He resembled a surfer forcing his way forward through an endless succession of towering waves.
The prismatic sacred sword was unstoppable.
The moment his sword collided with the First Firmament's power, time itself came to a halt.
For a single instant, the entire world froze.
In the next moment, ten dimensional layers of the Marvel Universe were pierced through by the terrifying force.
An enormous rift appeared.
Beyond it lay an endless void.
It was the region outside the world where the Multiverse itself existed.
The collision between their powers had actually pierced through the entire Multiverse's dimensional structure.
Karl stared through the enormous rift.
On the other side stood an unimaginably colossal figure.
Its body was so vast and magnificent that Karl could not describe it in words.
Before that figure, an entire universe was no larger than a marble.
As though it had sensed Karl's gaze, the enormous figure turned and looked toward him.
Karl immediately felt a suffocating pressure descend upon him.
Fortunately, the enormous rift rapidly closed and returned to normal.
Nothing remained around Karl.
There was only emptiness.
The smaller dimensional realms had been annihilated by the terrifying collision between their powers.
Everything in the surrounding area had been completely erased.
Even the evil will surrounding Mordo had almost entirely dissipated.
It was obvious that Karl had gained the upper hand during the collision.
The power the First Firmament had left behind in this world was clearly insufficient to kill him.
However, the First Firmament had only now realized that fact.
"Hmph."
"It appears I still underestimated your talent, child."
"Your talent is far greater than I imagined."
"Had I known this earlier, I would have forced this body beyond its limits and killed you immediately."
The First Firmament sounded somewhat regretful.
He had never imagined that Karl's talent would be so extraordinary.
Karl had collided directly with his power without being placed at even the slightest disadvantage.
Such talent was truly terrifying.
From the primordial era until the present day, the First Firmament had defeated countless geniuses.
He had even created the Celestials, an immensely powerful race.
However, if talent alone were considered, Karl would undoubtedly rank near the very top.
He might even rank among the ten most talented beings the First Firmament had ever encountered.
Such talent was far too frightening.
He had severely underestimated this young man.
The First Firmament gave Karl one final, penetrating look.
"We will meet again."
After uttering those words, his body slowly began to fracture.
Cracks spread continuously across it.
The armor formed from his evil will split apart and collapsed into fragments across the ground.
The First Firmament's will dissipated.
Only Mordo's empty shell remained.
After being controlled by the First Firmament's will, all of Mordo's power had disappeared.
His body was also on the verge of collapse.
This was the consequence of having power far beyond his limits forcibly injected into his body.
"No!"
"Why?"
"Why did you abandon me?"
Mordo screamed in despair.
"How pathetic. You placed your hopes in the promise of an evil god."
"Do you not understand? The moment you lose your value, you become nothing more than refuse to an evil god."
"None of the gods in this world are worthy of trust."
Karl spoke indifferently.
Mordo's personality had determined his tragic fate.
He possessed an endless desire for power, but lacked the will required to control that power.
In the end, the power he pursued had consumed him.
"You do not understand anything!"
"I…"
Mordo glared hatefully at Karl, but he never had the opportunity to finish speaking.
Karl merely waved his hand.
An overwhelming power appeared.
Mordo was instantly vaporized from existence.
"I have no interest in listening to your grievances."
"I am busy."
After saying that, Karl turned and left.
