Ultron frowned.
He had believed that he had deliberately kept those superheroes occupied, yet during the battle around the safes, he had still failed to keep the entire situation under control.
That was a serious mistake.
"You actually built something like this behind my back!"
Listening to the thunderous rumbling coming from inside the enormous container, Ultron had already more or less guessed Magneto's identity.
Tothwanwell merely smiled.
"We're partners. I don't need your permission to create anything."
"Besides, you let Eric O'Grady escape right under your nose more than once."
"You couldn't even defeat Iron Man. Of course I had to find another solution."
"Or did you expect me to rely on you to deal with Karl?"
Those words struck Ultron hard.
He instantly rushed forward, seized Tothwanwell by the collar, and lifted him high into the air.
The densely packed Skrulls below immediately erupted into furious roars.
Ultron looked down at the massive crowd.
He knew perfectly well that if he attacked now, an internal conflict would inevitably erupt.
"If you want to do something, then do it now."
"Once the one inside that container comes out, you might not get another chance."
Hearing that, Ultron slowly lowered Tothwanwell back to the ground.
He let out several cold snorts.
Ultron didn't believe a word of Tothwanwell's boasting.
The idea that this man could truly keep everything firmly under his control was almost laughable.
Far too arrogant.
"I only hope the person you're releasing will actually help your cause."
"If you're letting a disaster loose instead, I'd like to see how you clean up the mess afterward."
Ultron immediately left at high speed.
He had absolutely no interest in staying around to watch Magneto emerge.
As far as Ultron was concerned, there was nothing worth watching.
He didn't believe Magneto would be nearly as useful as Tothwanwell imagined.
Ultron did feel somewhat responsible for the damage the Skrulls had suffered this time.
But he had never expected them to release Magneto so quickly.
Where did that leave him?
The more he thought about it, the angrier he became.
"So they already had another plan prepared…"
"But Magneto isn't someone they'll be able to manipulate so easily."
Ultron shook his head helplessly.
Meanwhile, Magneto was finally being released from the enormous container.
Magneto himself possessed tremendous power.
Then there was his daughter, Polaris.
Power on that level was more than enough to make even Ultron wary.
"Divine One, now that we have Magneto, we finally possess our ultimate weapon!"
"I believe that once he's released, everything will return to our control."
Dotilt smiled.
Tothwanwell, however, didn't look nearly as pleased.
He couldn't shake the feeling that this situation was far more dangerous than they imagined.
Had releasing Magneto been a mistake?
"At the very least, we need to deal with Karl first!"
"Our previous strategy was completely wrong."
"We thought taking down those superheroes would be enough."
"But we never expected that the so-called Sorcerer Supreme would become the greatest obstacle standing in our way."
A trace of astonishment appeared in Tothwanwell's eyes.
He had never expected someone who normally looked so young to become the person most capable of ruining his grand ambitions.
The more he thought about it, the more absurd it seemed.
"I used to think he was nothing more than some young punk."
"And now he's standing directly in my way!"
"If I'm going to accomplish what I set out to do, then none of this is going to be easy."
"I'll make him pay for what he's done."
"He'll learn exactly what it costs to reduce my base to ruins!"
The fury blazing in Tothwanwell's eyes had already smothered what little restraint he had left.
Karl hadn't expected that, after being driven into a corner, they would actually release Magneto.
Ultron alone was already troublesome enough.
But now Magneto had suddenly appeared as well.
Just like that, they had gained two powerful enemies.
"We need to come up with something…"
Eric O'Grady was anxious too.
After all, they knew that Apocalypse had once sought out twelve individuals and referred to them as his Emissaries.
Magneto had been among them.
Storm, Iceman, Tigra, and others had also been included.
Of those twelve, eleven had been classified as Alpha-class, and according to the information they had, they were all mutants.
The amount of power contained within them was difficult to predict.
More importantly, Magneto had once used his own abilities to defeat Iron Man directly.
Tony found that particular memory humiliating.
But even he had no choice but to admit that Magneto was an extremely difficult force to deal with.
If they failed to find a way to counter him early, he could eventually become a devastating threat.
"If that's the case, dealing with him is going to become even harder."
Everyone present understood how formidable Magneto's magnetic field was.
It could not only protect him, but was supposedly capable of withstanding energy equivalent to several nuclear explosions.
That alone made him an extremely troublesome opponent.
"Are you telling me even the Sorcerer Supreme has no way to deal with him?"
"He might be powerful, but there has to be some way to stop him."
"I refuse to believe there's absolutely nothing we can do."
To Magneto, however, ordinary attacks were barely worth mentioning.
Even attacks from the Avengers or the entire X-Men would be little more than a nuisance.
That was why everyone present remained deeply worried.
Given Magneto's strength, they couldn't help fearing what his appearance could mean for the entire Earth.
"I still can't believe they actually released Magneto."
"How could Tothwanwell possibly have enough power to control him?"
"Even if this Magneto is only a replica created from his DNA, they still need something capable of controlling him."
"What are they using?"
The Skrulls possessed extremely advanced technology.
Creating a duplicate Magneto might not be impossible for them.
They already possessed numerous replicated superheroes.
In their attempt to conquer Earth, they had invested an enormous amount of resources into the plan.
But the fact that they could apparently reproduce even someone like Magneto still left everyone deeply shocked.
There was even a trace of fear.
They could hardly believe any of this was real.
"I know."
"This is even more dangerous than we imagined, and it could have consequences far beyond what we're expecting."
"There's no point trying to hide from it."
"Magneto is incredibly powerful. His body is supposedly tough enough to rival Captain America's shield."
"If we wait until he attacks first, it'll already be too late!"
"The level of technology built into these replicated bodies is far beyond anything we imagined!"
Wonder Woman's words shattered what little optimism remained among everyone present.
