Chapter 78 - Chapter 78: Demiurge's Shock, Teacher Shuna

Within the Duchy of Nazarick.

Draco had established a magic academy, with Shuna serving as the principal.

Children with magical talent were sent to the magic academy for instruction.

Shuna had already successfully trained a group of students who were now serving as teachers within the school.

Karinina, the Long-eared Race girl who was brought back along with the Leopard-eared Girl, Shiro.

Due to her outstanding magical talent and having earned Shuna's appreciation, she was directly promoted to the school's Dean of Students.

As for the beastman Leopard-eared Girl, after undergoing special training with Hakurou, she became an exceptional warrior and was assigned by Draco to be Benimaru's adjutant.

It was said that the two of them always blushed when they met, though whether that was true or not was unknown.

As for Shiro's Triplet younger sisters, after two years of growth, they had attained impressive strength.

Working together, the three of them were already capable of defeating Kurumi.

This resulted in the end of Kurumi's comfortable life.

Under Hakurou's devilish special training, she would run to Draco every day to complain and cry.

But the results were pleasing; Kurumi had grown two more tails, and her strength had increased significantly compared to before.

I've digressed.

Draco arrived at the magic academy and nodded with satisfaction upon seeing the school's enthusiastic learning atmosphere.

The academy was large; besides teaching children, ten thousand mages were also studying here.

Draco was committed to building a massive magic legion.

His purpose for coming here today was the same as these students: to attend class.

After a few days of self-study, Draco had hit a bottleneck.

Much of the knowledge in the magic books was obscure and difficult to understand; without a professional teacher's guidance, figuring it out on his own would take a great deal of time and effort.

But since he couldn't attend classes like the other students, he could only hire a private tutor.

Arriving at the principal's office, Draco knocked on the door and entered after receiving permission.

"Ah, Principal Shuna is busy, I see..."

Pushing open the door, Draco saw Shuna buried in her work.

At this moment, Shuna was wearing a black suit and glasses, processing documents.

Although she had a small frame, she possessed a pair of resolute eyes.

Hearing the voice, Shuna looked up.

"Lord Draco, please don't tease me."

Shuna put down her brush, picked up the teapot placed nearby, and personally poured a cup of water for Draco.

"What brings you here so suddenly, Lord?"

"How should I put it..."

"Are you free lately?"

"Hmm?"

Shuna was slightly stunned for a moment before reacting, "Is there something you need me to handle?"

Draco suddenly found it a bit hard to speak.

"If you have something, Lord, please just give the order."

"Well... I want you to be my teacher..."

Shuna stood up in surprise.

"Me? You're not joking, are you, Lord? Your magic level is far beyond mine..."

Draco shook his head. "Actually, I want to learn basic magic knowledge."

"Basic magic knowledge?"

Shuna grew more and more confused.

"For certain reasons, I need to relearn magic knowledge starting from zero."

"I see..."

Shuna nodded as if she understood something.

"So, what kind of knowledge do you wish to learn, Lord?"

"Everything. I'll learn whatever you know."

"Understood."

"But what about my work at the school?"

"If you're not free during the day, how about the evening?"

"No problem."

Draco breathed a sigh of relief. "Then I'll be in your care, Teacher Shuna."

A hint of crimson flashed across Shuna's small face. "You're teasing me again, Lord."

...Leaving the school, Draco returned to the library to continue his studies.

Just then, a message from Demiurge came through.

"Lord Draco, everything is as you expected. That Majin named Gelmud has become active again."

"Give that fellow a bit of help appropriately. You can quietly reveal information about the Hogheads to him."

"This..."

Demiurge, on the other side of the Communication Crystal, fell into silence.

After a long while.

"As expected of the supreme being, Lord Draco. This subordinate truly cannot fathom the profound meaning behind your move. Please enlighten me, Lord."

Draco grinned; he had finally done something that Demiurge couldn't figure out.

"Hmph, just do as I say. You'll understand after some time."

Draco hung up the communication, sat back in his chair, and fell into deep thought.

He could stop Gelmud's plan now, and thus the Pig-Headed Emperor would not be born.

But if he did that, Rimuru's Jura Forest Great Alliance would not be able to form.

Not to mention the Jura Tempest Federation later on.

Therefore, not only would Draco not stop Gelmud's plan, but he would also provide him with assistance.

Leading him toward the territory of the Hogheads.

Although many people would die this way, it was all caused by Clayman's conspiracy, so it has nothing to do with me.

On the other side of the Communication Crystal.

"Incredible, truly unfathomable!"

"As expected of the absolute ruler of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. His foresight far exceeds our imagination."

"It is truly an honor to serve Lord Draco!"

Subsequently, Demiurge summoned his subordinates and began to act according to Draco's plan... Nighttime, within Draco's room.

Shalltear rested her chin on her hand, lying bored on the bed.

"Why hasn't Master returned yet..."

"Albedo, do you think Master might have gone to the Sakura Sanctuary again?"

"No, Master is in the library."

"How do you know?"

"I asked my sister. Besides, if Master went to the Eighth Floor, she would tell me."

"Nigredo? If she said so, then there's no problem."

Nigredo, the woman in black like Sadako, has a Spiritual Field that covers all of Nazarick and can know everything happening within it.

The two of them waited until late at night.

Losing her patience, Shalltear said, "Ah!! I'm not waiting anymore. I'm going to the library. Are you coming or not?"

"I'm coming!"

...Late at night, inside the library.

Draco was frowning as he listened to Shuna explain various magical concepts, making him feel as if he were back in a classroom during his student days.

Shuna's magic theory course was very comprehensive, covering various fields such as potions, alchemy, elemental manipulation, incantations, and magic circles.

He had to admit that Shuna was indeed an excellent teacher.

"This is the classification of incantations and magic circles; we call them Magic Symbols and Magic Patterns."

Shuna pointed at the neatly arranged scrolls on the desk and said to Draco.

"Incantations and Magic Patterns have a total of ten tiers. With each tier, the power doubles. Generally speaking, a mage can only proficiently master Magic Patterns and convert them into offensive means after reaching the third tier..."

While the two of them were focused.

The library door was silently pushed open, leaving a small crack.

Two sneaky figures were sticking their butts out, crouching outside the door and peeking inside... (Divider)
