The Law Between Two Hands
Leon slowly floated to Kevin's side, midnight robes whispering against the wind.
His purple eyes reflected the collapsing vortex above, yet his expression remained calm — almost gentle.
Then he spoke.
"All things under heaven sprang from It as existing… that existence sprang from It as non-existent…"
His voice was steady, neither loud nor forceful, but it carried through the roaring Mana like a thread stitching chaos back into order.
He continued, tone deepening slightly.
"The fusion of good and bad is not conflict — it is balance. When light meets shadow, when gain meets loss… the two are not enemies. They complete one another."
Kevin's trembling fingers stilled.
"The world is never one-sided," Leon went on. "Ten years to know the turning of seasons. A hundred years to witness life, aging, illness, and death. A thousand years to see empires rise and fall."
The wind shifted.
"Everything has a law."
His gaze sharpened.
