The Pinnacle of Moon Edge Style [Part 2]
Crack.
Crack.
Crack.
Thin fractures spread across the stone beneath Eddy's feet.
They crept outward in every direction, branching and twisting like the legs of a spider. Within seconds, the solid ground beneath him looked as though it had been struck by a hammer from below.
Evelyne instinctively took a step back.
Her eyes remained fixed on Eddy.
She could feel it.
The pressure around him was growing heavier by the second.
Then Eddy moved.
His sword flashed through the air as he slashed toward Fean.
Evelyne's eyes widened.
The distance between the two men was at least ten meters.
There was no way an ordinary sword could reach that far.
The blade wasn't nearly long enough.
Diana's gaze sharpened as well.
For one brief moment, the two women thought the exact same thing.
Had Eddy made a mistake?
The slash should have fallen short.
There was simply too much distance between them.
But then—
Fean suddenly moved.
