The Obsidian King's Wrath
Seeing the red light pierce into Evan's body and the blood trickling from his nose, Togou was the first to react.
He stepped forward, Justice Sword trembling faintly in his grip, and pointed it straight at Evan's throat.
"You despicable scoundrel," he roared, voice shaking with both fury and humiliation. "So it was you who set up this malevolent energy."
"I saw it too!" another Exorcist shouted, stepping out from the crowd, face red with rage. "This guy is truly malicious."
"So it turns out he orchestrated the whole thing."
"What a shameless person."
Voices overlapped.
Condemnation surged through the hall like wildfire.
The same men who had admired him earlier now looked at him with naked disgust.
Gwen Valquin stood frozen for a moment, heart pounding violently in her chest.
Everything she had heard in that mysterious inner voice—
Every warning.
Every prediction.
Every detail.
It had all been true.
