Julian was crouched beside the sofa.
Gwen Valquin sat there with one leg slightly lifted, carefully applying medicinal wine to her ankle.
Just a few moments earlier, Julian had offered to help her apply the medicine.
But the moment his fingers touched her ankle—
A strange electric sensation ran through Gwen's body.
Her heart skipped a beat.
Her face heated instantly.
She quickly pulled back slightly.
"I'll… I'll do it myself."
Julian had only shrugged helplessly.
"Alright."
So now he sat on the floor beside the sofa, watching her treat the injury while pretending to be a gentleman.
