Smelling the aroma, Julian looked at Lina Ashford and Liza Voss, who were guarding the room, and said, "The elixirs are ready. Who wants to try one first?"
"I'll go. It smells delicious."
Liza swallowed, she's clearly a foodie.
She stared at the perfectly round elixir in Julian's hand, her dark eyes sparkling with excitement. The rich medicinal fragrance lingered in the air, making her stomach growl ever so slightly.
Lina couldn't help but smile.
"You really only think about food."
Liza pouted.
"It isn't my fault! It smells amazing."
Julian let out a soft laugh, shaking his head helplessly.
"So impatient?"
"Very."
"At least let me hand it to you properly."
Liza nodded obediently, taking a small step closer.
Julian pinched a pill and handed it over.
Without hesitation, Liza opened her mouth and took Julian's finger in.
She used her tongue to catch the pill from between his fingers and swallowed it.
