Elara opened her eyes and found herself standing in a quiet garden. As she looked around in confusion. Her eyes landed on a little boy standing ahead of her, facing an easel.
He held a brush in hand and was painting on the canvas, not reacting to anything around him.
Nearby, two girls were also present. One was moving happily across the grasses without a clear direction while the other stood still, watching the boy painting with a warm gaze.
Elara's gaze lingered on them. Something about the scene felt familiar, though she could not figure out how.
Then the girl who had been moving around suddenly stopped and turned to her. Their eyes met, and Elara froze immediately.
It was her. The same girl she had kept seeing in her dreams.
The girl gave a small calm smile as she stared at her unblinkingly.
At that moment, the surroundings began to shift, and the garden faded.
Elara now stood in a hallway.
