Dulce had swiftly made his way to Ruoxi's room, he hadn't seen the other since the night before, worry hastened his steps.
He knocked politely on the doors before opening them, stepping in, and closing the doors behind him in one fluid motion when a wall of fragrance crashed against him.
Dulce's eyes widened, his eyes drawn to the bed where Ruoxi was half-lying down, his upper body propped against pillows. The Demon had said nothing at his presence so for a moment, he thought he was asleep. He quickly caught sight of his dim gold eyes though, unable to feel relief despite that.
Lotus flowers hung heavy and redolent in the warmly lit room, it was even more intense than the last time. He was pinned to the doors for a moment, the faint pink mist in the room seeming to caress his skin.
"Ruoxi?" Dulce composed himself to say, taking a step forward. "Are you alright?"
