"Stop right there! Don't move!"
"I swear, I'll shoot!"
William was already starting to ramble.
"You damn bitches!"
"How dare you ignore me!"
"I'm William Josen, the greatest rock singer of this century!"
"So many women line up to get into my bed, but that damn blind girl didn't know what was good for her. I confessed to her myself, and she actually dared to reject me!"
"And you, a damn plumber, actually dared to break into my house."
"And treat me like I wasn't even there!"
"Now, if you don't want to die, get the hell out!"
At that moment, a hand reached over.
It grabbed William by the collar and threw him.
William immediately went flying through the air. He slammed into the wall, then crashed back onto the floor, knocking out one of his front teeth.
Covering his mouth, he struggled back to his feet and saw Kimiko walking toward him.
William screamed and raised his revolver, firing nonstop.
Kimiko neither dodged nor avoided him. Her body swayed as blood sprayed out.
Soon, William emptied the revolver.
Yet Kimiko walked to the side as if nothing had happened.
Then one bullet after another was forced out of her body by her muscles and fell onto the floor.
"Y-you, what kind of monster are you?", William said in shock.
Kimiko grabbed the hand holding the gun and twisted hard.
Crack!
The sound of a bone breaking rang out, and William's hand instantly bent out of shape.
He screamed, but only got halfway through before Kimiko covered his mouth with her hand.
Kimiko clenched her fingers.
William's mouth immediately turned into a bloody mess.
She grabbed his head and twisted the rock singer's neck one hundred and eighty degrees.
When she let go, William fell to the floor with his face turned behind him.
At that moment, Homelander came out carrying the unconscious Caitlin.
Seeing the holes in Kimiko's clothes, he shook his head.
"Couldn't you dodge?"
Kimiko signed: [No need. I can't die anyway.]
Homelander nodded, "You can't die, but clothes cost money."
Kimiko looked at the holes in her clothes and thought that Homelander seemed to have a point.

[Chinatown, Rental Apartment]
Caitlin suddenly shouted and sat upright.
Then she heard a familiar voice.
"Relax. You're at home."
"Mr. John?"
Sitting by the bed, Homelander nodded, "It's me."
Caitlin suddenly threw herself at him and hugged him tightly, "William, Mr. William, he..."
Homelander gently patted her back, "Relax. It's over."
"Don't worry. Nothing happened."
"You're completely fine."
Caitlin found it hard to believe, "Really? Why did that happen?"
"It seems Homelander happened to be chasing a superpowered criminal. That criminal took William hostage and killed him."
"Afterward, the police found your frequent contacts in your phone and got in touch with me."
"When I brought you back, you were still asleep. All your clothes were still there."
"So it's fine."
Homelander made it all up casually. Even he didn't believe what he was saying.
Yet Caitlin seemed to believe it.
She let out a sigh of relief, "That's good."
Suddenly, she remembered she was still hugging him and quickly let go.
"Sorry, I... I must have scared you, right?"
"Do I look that easy to scare?", Homelander laughed and stood up, "Get some rest."
"I already asked for leave for you at the music store. Your boss said you should rest for two or three days before going back to work."
Caitlin nodded repeatedly, "Thank you, Mr. John."

After leaving Caitlin's apartment, Homelander went to the second floor and knocked on Kimiko's door.
Kimiko seemed to have just finished showering. She was only wearing underwear. Water droplets still clung to her body, and she stood barefoot on the carpet.
Homelander whistled.
Although the Wolf Girl was petite, her figure was well-proportioned. Together with her Asian features, she was like Caitlin and matched Homelander's tastes.
Seeing Homelander looking her over, Kimiko's face turned red. She ran back into the room and only came out after changing into a T-shirt and jeans.
Homelander didn't stay long. He picked up a sticky note in the living room and wrote down an address.
"This is where your brother is right now."
"He might not be there later."
"If you're going, it's best to head over now."
"And warn him not to cause trouble in the Federation."
"Otherwise, he'll bear the consequences himself."
After speaking, Homelander lightly patted Kimiko's cheek, "You too."
Then he left.
Kimiko took the address and glanced at it before hurrying out the door.

[Aldi Supermarket]
The supermarket had already closed.
After the main doors were locked, Kenji finally came out of the storage room.
He had been hungry all day and was dizzy from it.
The moment he left the storage room, he rushed to the food section. Without caring about anything else, he grabbed a box of chocolate, tore off the wrapping, and started eating.
Then he took a bottle of milk from a refrigerated shelf and poured it straight into his mouth.
After the floor was covered with wrappers and several empty milk bottles, Kenji finally burped and sat down to rest.
Just then, he noticed that a metal grille covering a ventilation opening on the supermarket wall ahead had been kicked away.
Kenji quickly hid, thinking a thief had broken into the supermarket.
Then he saw a small figure jump down from the vent.
It was a black-haired Asian woman.
When Kenji saw her face clearly, he froze and could hardly believe his eyes.
Several seconds later, he walked out from behind the shelves.
"Big Sister?"
Hearing his voice, Kimiko turned around.
When she saw Kenji coming out from behind the shelves, her eyes immediately reddened.
Then she strode over and opened her arms.
The two hugged each other tightly.
After a while, Kimiko finally let go. The corners of her eyes were wet as she signed, [Mouse, I thought I would never see you again.]
Kenji patted his chest.
"Me too, Big Sister."
Kimiko grabbed Kenji's hand and signed: [Come with me.]

They went to a community park.
It was already late at night, and there was no one around.
The two sat on swings.
Kimiko signed: [Are you okay? Did they hit you?]
Kenji smiled and shook his head.
Then he said, "When you disappeared that night, I was very sad."
"Sorry."
"We were supposed to take care of each other, but then you were gone."
Kimiko shook her head and signed, [Shining Light sent me here.]
[They filled my spine with blue poison using syringes.]
Kenji said sadly, "I should have found you."
Kimiko shook her head, [No, I'm the older sister.]
[I should have gone back to save you.]
[But I...]
[They turned me into a monster.]
When she signed those words, Kimiko looked miserable.
Kenji smiled.
"If that's true, then now both of us are monsters."
The night wind blew by, lifting Kimiko's black hair.
She gave a bitter smile, one that looked both helpless and sad.
