Chapter 48
Keifer's POV
After resting a bit we went outside to join the rest. It looked more like a Gala than actual funeral.
Dad took me too meet someone.
Dad " Keifer , meet Mr Mariano , Mr. Jasfer Mariano"
DAD , he could have given me a heads up.
Keifer " Hello Mr. Mariano. Your daughter is very beautiful."
What did I say. I looked at dad . He was trying to control his laugh.
Mr. Mariano " I know , Percy told me everything. "
Just then there was a call on my mobile. I took the mobile out of my pocket. It was Jay calling . Both my father and Mr. Mariano saw the caller id with the photo of Jay. I picked it up.
Jay " remain in the crowded area, dont go somewhere else. Your house had a small blast. First they fired like anything. Then there was small blast in your home. "
I was speechless.
Jay (continues) " i think that was a warning. They knew some one would tell you everything. Please be safe."
Dad " what happened, why do you look so shocked , what did she say?"
Keifer (still dazed)" the fired at my house and there was a small blast in the house. The house is gone."
Mr. Mariano " has something happened. Why do all of you looked shocked. What did she said that made you so shocked"
Azhrael " what's going on here. Did somethinghappen?(with a very different tone, he almost had a smirk on his face)
It is as he knows something happened. Or is he the one that made that something happen.
Dad " was something going to happen. Why do you looked so excited in your sons funeral. Shouldn't you be sad. I cannot feel sadness from you."
All the color drained from his face. Dad's comment wiped the smirk of his face. Just then I received a message .
Jay : dont eat or drink anything given by Watson.
This girl is getting scared too much . Nothing will happen like that. She is just overthinking.
Everyone was looking at me.
Dad " Now what!?"
Keifer " Nothing, I was just thinking something."
Dad " it would be better if we dont eat anything here."
Mr. MARIANO " I dont think anyone would mix anything in the food here as , they would contaminate everything. No one would take that risk"
I looked at both of them shocked.
Dad " why do you look so shocked."
Keifer "ummm....Jay said the same thing as you and I thought the same thing as him"(pointing at Mr. Mariano. )
Mr Mariano looked everywhere but us and dad was smirking.
Keiren looked affected by everything happening . Keigan looked uninterested in everything.
Keigan " when are we going to go back. And why are you all shocked by everything happening "
Everyone looked at him.
Dad " how did you know that this will happen?"
Keigan " After Fernandez house was burnt i knew this would happen to us sooner or later. And we are here to tease so I think our teasing worked. Lets go back. I am missing important classes. "
Oh my scholarly brother. I forgot missing school is biggest crime in his books.
I sighed and looked at Dad and Mr. Mariano. Dad was looking at Keigan as if trying to understand him. And Mr Mariano looked at him intrigued. Ok I need to impress him.
There was a ping sound from my mobile.
Jay : if you eat anything puke it out.
I messaged her to calm her down.
Keifer : I am safe dont worry , I am not eating or drinking here dont worry.
Jay : Okay! Thank god. Come back safe.
Jay's pov
I am getting so scared. Dont know what will. I know he would be getting irritated with my nagging. But I cant sit silently imagining all types of scenarios. What would happen if that man gets too jealous and does something really dangerous.
Yajna " we need to divert our mind, or you'll go crazy with overthinking. (She scrunched her face) i just now remember you can't go out. We can't even go out for a walk to relax"
Am I going to live in fear for rest of my life. No this cant be true. All this has to be solved. I cant be trapped forever. I need to think something
Yajna (looking at me) " what are you thinking ate"
Jay " Nothing"
Why did it forget my connections.
Suddenly my mobile pinged showing a message from Keifer
King of Ullopong : i am with your Dad . Do you want to say something...
