Su An'an swished her tail and swam toward Lan Cangming. Water droplets slid down her pinkish-blue ear fins, refracting the moonlight into a rainbow of colors.
She wrapped her arms around his neck, only to find his brow tightly furrowed and his fingers trembling slightly.
"What's wrong?"
Su An'an tilted her head and gently shook his shoulder, her ear fins fluttering like a butterfly's wings as she asked in a playfully chiding tone,
"Don't you like how I look now?"
"No, that's not it."
