I thought about writing some kind of emotional post, but it didn't seem necessary. You can all just read the update. However, some readers might not know the novel is going premium, so I decided to write a quick note after all.

I'm not going to get all sentimental. You guys read for enjoyment, and I don't think it's necessary to weigh things down with a lot of emotional baggage. Besides, I'm hopelessly bad at that stuff anyway.
While I'm here, I'd like to address a perceived contradiction from the last two chapters. A reader DMed me, saying that Shan Xiong suddenly attacking Chen Chuan just because a woman he supposedly loved smiled at Chen Chuan was a bit of a turn-off. They asked, "Are people really that idiotic? And by that logic, since she's a receptionist, shouldn't Shan Xiong beat someone up every single time she smiles at a person?"
