Evangeline said nothing more. She turned and entered the cave, but this time, she didn't set up a restrictive ward.
After all, the entire Frost-plain Tribe was afflicted with the plague. If something happened, she needed to be able to respond at a moment's notice.
Galen clasped her hands tightly to her chest and whispered, "Thank the Beast God, and thank the Witch."
Lachlan stood behind her. Hearing her voice, he said flatly, "You trust her that much?"
Hearing this, Galen quickly turned to face Lachlan and nodded emphatically. "Brother Lachlan, the Witch you brought from the Grymdale Tribe is incredible! She can really cure the plague! Our Frost-plain Tribe is going to be alright!"
Lachlan didn't reply. He stood at the cave entrance for a moment before turning to walk back toward the tribe.
Galen bit her lip, then suddenly called out to him, "Brother Lachlan! Wait a moment!"
