Evangeline followed the faint GPS signal, searching as she went. She crossed five snowy mountains, and by the time night fell, she still hadn't found Lachlan. Just as she was about to doubt the accuracy of the Contract Mark, she came upon a tribe.

'So, Lachlan recklessly came all the way here to investigate?'
