Wyatt Hawthorne connected the dots in his mind and warned Faye Vaughn in a low voice, "Stay away from that friend of yours."
Faye Vaughn was confused. "Why? Audrey is a really nice person."
Wyatt Hawthorne glanced at her coldly. "She's dating Vince, and you were showering at her place. Were you trying to get Vince to walk in on you fresh out of the shower?"
Faye Vaughn's lips parted in utter astonishment. "You're saying... that scumbag is Second Young Master Hawthorne?"
Wyatt Hawthorne said nothing.
'Scumbag? She had called him that, too.'
Faye Vaughn muttered to herself, "So all the men in the Hawthorne family are..."
She was mumbling under her breath, but Wyatt Hawthorne had sharp hearing and heard her loud and clear.
He didn't get angry. He just told the driver to go faster.
Faye Vaughn gazed out the car window. The asphalt road grew wider, yet it also became quieter.
