Vincent Hawthorne drove smoothly and quickly.
Instead of heading toward the city, he got on the highway.
Faye Vaughn watched the scenery on both sides grow increasingly desolate. Something felt off. "Second Young Master, where are you planning to take me?"
Vincent Hawthorne's tone was calm, but it left no room for negotiation. "I'm taking you to the countryside."
Faye Vaughn wasn't flustered. She asked calmly, "Second Young Master, why don't you be frank with me? What do you plan to do to me?"
Vincent Hawthorne gripped the steering wheel, stepped on the gas, and accelerated to the speed limit.
He replied nonchalantly, "The more remote and undeveloped the place, the harder it will be for my older brother to find you. Don't you want to escape? I'm helping you."
Faye Vaughn raised an eyebrow.
She wasn't "Audrey Kensington" right now.
She didn't believe for a second that Second Young Master Hawthorne would be so kind to "Faye Vaughn."
