The old man looked in the direction the youth pointed.
It was a Scab Chicken, completely featherless. Its skin was mottled with black and white patches and was rough and uneven.
Although its appearance was nothing special, it was plump and fat.
"BOK BOK BOK."
The Scab Chicken strutted with a splay-footed gait, letting out soft clucks as it passed in front of the buck-toothed youth's group as if they weren't even there.
"What a fat chicken!" The buck-toothed youth's eyes lit up, and he licked his lips. "I haven't had any meat since entering this Desperate Mountain Range. My mouth is starting to go bland."
As he spoke, he rolled up his sleeves, wanting to catch the Scab Chicken for a nice meal.
"Young Master, wait!" The old man stopped the buck-toothed youth.
"What is it, Grandmaster Wei?" the buck-toothed youth asked, looking at the old man in confusion.
"There's something wrong with this chicken!"
