Qiao Qiao's little head felt dizzy.
She struggled to open her eyes and was suddenly met with an exceedingly handsome face.
His sky-blue pupils widened in surprise. Startled, she yelped and scrambled up from the bed.
"A bad guy!"
Feiyan froze for a moment, then grabbed Qiao Qiao's little foot and lifted her up.
"You bad guy, let go of me!"
Qiao Qiao hung upside down, flailing her arms and legs and wailing in anger.
When Feili saw that clueless oaf Feiyan treating his little female cub like this, he was so angry he nearly leaped into the air.
He hurried forward and rescued Qiao Qiao from Feiyan's grasp.
"There, there, little one, don't be scared. Your father is just overjoyed; he would never want to hurt you."
Qiao Qiao looked at Feili in terror.
'This old fox-man has such a kind look in his eyes.'
'But I don't know him at all.'
'Mother said not to let strange beastmen hold me.'
She squirmed out of Feili's arms.
